I recently was hired for a job and was sent for a pre-employment test. I thought it was going to be a urine test so I was prepared. To my suprsie they took hair.

I am 6ft tall about 180lbs. For the past 2.5yrs I smoked nearly everyday. The only good thing is that for the past 6 months i have been fairly clean. For the first 3 months of that "fairly" clean period i smoked no more than an 1/8. And then for the next 3 months I was clean except I smoked probably about 3 -4 bong hits about 2 weeks before the test. They took the hair from my underarms. Since I didn't realize it was a hair test I didn't do anything to prepare. I didn't do any of the cleansing methods or even cut the hair.The test is was done by psychmedics.

About 9 loooong days after the test I recieved a call from the employer. I passed. Starting the new job in a few days

im goin to take my test tomorrow, will let you all guys know the results for sure. I have only been clean for 8 days, washed my hair with aloe rid shampoo and treatment, mitchell 3 cleanse shampoo everyday 2-3x a day for 15-20 min each. Ive done macujos method these past 4 days, 1-2x a day. 2night i did a modified Mucujos method, with airplane fuel (methanol) in substituition of the clean and clear. I let that set for 2 hours also. I also have done the original Mucujos method a few hours after that. And plan to do that again 2morrow morning, along with Root Clean before departing for my test. I just cant wait for this damn sh$%$ to be over with! Ill wait for them to either tell me i failed, or wait a week or so and let you guys know that i passed!! wish me luck

20 y/o 5' 10, 165 lbs, brown normal hair. moderate smoker daily for 2 years( small 1/2 bowl to a bowl a night) of the good stuff. Shaved entire body. 1" hair length on top, being tested by psychemedics.

well after a week of doubts, week of worries, i did indeed pass and i start monday!!!! I was only off the green for 8 days, daily before that for 2 years. , and can vouch Macujos method indeed works, or atleast the combination of all the things i tried did. Thanks Mucojo!!

I'm back, took awhile to get my head. Forgive the long post, but my aim is to prevent a repeat of my story.

On my 5th failure. Tried about everything and don't have any issues reading or following directions, so I can't say what is going wrong.

Some things that might factor in:

I'm 6ft, 180 lbs, average metabolism and activity level, thick BLOND hair. (I'm told blond hair can be difficult to clean.) Something else that appears to contribute - I had cancer a few years ago and lost a lot of my lymph system function as a result of treatment.

Was a daily smoker, 1 - 2 bowls for 5 years, maybe longer. Been smoking on and off most of my life, almost 30 years.

My "Story"

Test #1 - Knew it was coming. Stayed clean for about 80 days (or so) and used "Totally Clean" shampoo day of test. Phsychemedics reported a positive result in excess of their scale - I blew the test completely out of the water.

Contacted lab and they refused to discuss results, or provide any documentation.

Test #2 - Still clean, but went in for a Wizz Quiz and got a surprise hair test. Phsychemedics did their best again and reported 7.9 pg. Got pissed and starting smoking again when lab again refused any reply.

Test #3 - Knew this one was coming. Stayed clean about 60 days and bought the best stuff from the most legit web site I could find. Turned out to be Testin' shampoo, Enhancer, and Finishing Conditioner. Starting to really dislike Phsymedics at this point. No results provided other than positive for MJ.

Test #4 - Not a clue, but by now I'm not taking any chances. Clean for about a month. Bought same Testin' package and Two Steps Ahead, Used MajCujo. Followed directions and used for 3 days, twice a day, for several hours each time. Test came back at 3.3 pg from who else, Pshychemedics. Burnt my skull to a crisp.

Test #5 - I'm on a mission. I disputed Test #4 and demanded a retest. Got the OK, scheduled for 5 days later. Kept on with MajCujo twice a day, went to see hairdresser friend and she gave me same stuff used to pre-treat hair before a perm or dye job. Guarenteed to strip anything. Also bought Nioxin shampoo. Used both for hours with more Testin', twice daily, right after MajCujo. Skull xtra crispy. Test failed.

By now, I'm on a first name basis with Doctor who interpets and reports Pshychemedic's results. I simply explain myself when he called the last time, (nothing to loose now) and ask what the hell is going on.

Here is what I've learned.

To clean your hair of metabolites, you must find something that will penetrate to the cortex (center) and remove residual everything. Since all hair is individual, the things that will work are individual as well.

Phsychemedics invented this type of testing and specializes in MJ detection.

They will keep a sample from a positive result for 5 years for "legal reasons"

On a retest, there is NO Cutoff. They only test for the presence of a metabolite. The lowest detection level possible is 0.2pg! - that's 10% of the normal cutoff level and equates to a half a drop of fly sweat. In short, they will change the rules if you challenge them. Worse, since they know you were positive once, they will keep testing the second sample until it is exhausted or they find something. They simply keep cutting new pieces to test by moving up the hair (and thereby looking farther back). Took them 9 days to catch me on this last one when the first 4 were back in 24 hours.

In retest cases, the second sample is microscopically compared to the first to ensure it is the same hair.

They are reluctant (at best) to discuss results with anyone other than the "Client" or entity sponsoring the test and the best threats won't get them to give up documented results. I got thru to them this time because I paid for the last test and was therefore the "Client". That, and the Doc has grown to like my dope smoking butt and has shared some info. Other numbers were given to me by the employers when I made enough noise.

Phsychemedics will Not test a sample again once they have a positive result. Seems there is enough variability in their results that they must have a new sample each time a result is disputed. That way, it is difficult to lay contention about the accuracy. I'm really not liking these guys. (Sidenote, there are more lawyers on their staff than doctors. Even the CEO is a lawyer)

Although the advertised test period is 90 days, the test can go back much longer depending on hair length, body type, metabolism, age, usage, sample origination, and other factors that affect how your body handles toxins. (Cancer, chemo, etc). Body hair can go back a much as a year and Yes, race IS a factor.

In closing - I'm screwed and now a reluctantly retired pothead. For whatever reason, I can't dodge this one.

once again i was faced with a stpid freakin hair test. once again i used the method i posted before. which also follows.once again , I PASSED!!!!! i had 14 days clean prior to testing and was smoking about a 1/4 oz. every 2 days. so here it is exactly how i did it.... i hope it helps someone as i have now passed twice doing this...

First, let me thank all of you for the posts which i used to make my own method.(well a modified method of other posts).I only had 30 clean days prior to doing this remedy. All this may seem extreme, but alot was riding on this.No matter how extreme it seems though, the bottom line is I PASSED!!!
OK, before applying anything always soak the hair in apple cider vinegar to open the shaft and soften the hair.(except for the bleaching and dyeing)
First thing is for 5 days prior to the test date I used the Aloe Rid shampoo/Aloe Rid hair treatment twice a day.Available at your nearest hair salon.
Three days prior to the test I bleached my hair. NOT DYE. BLEACH!! left it on for the recommened 45 mins. Nothing special here.
Later the same day I bleached, i used Off Road Legal Octane Booster. Available at Kragen/Checkers/Shucks. Its has very high levels of methanol. And half of the impurities of straight gasoline. I left it on for 20 mins.(WATCH YOUR EYES!!!!)
The seond and day befor the test I used the vinegar/clean & clear/tide method posted by mucujo on this site in another threadon page 2 , i believe. (Agian boys and girls, watch your eyes).
The day before the test I dyed my hair hair back to as close to a natral color i could find. Before you bleach, go to the salon and have them assist in finding the color the matches your hair the best.
The day of the test i once again did the vinegar/clean & clear/Tide method and trotted my very scared ass to the clinic.
5 days passed (5 days of worrying) and I recieved a call that there was not a trace of any drug in my hair. I PASSED!!!!!
I hope this helps you all and good luck. And DO not, I repeat, DO NOT waste your money on those freaking waste of time shampoos you buy online. They are useless and expensive. My method cost me about a total of 45 bucks and it worked. Jst for the record, I have dark brown, very thick hair, which is suppose to hold the toxins better than light fine hair.
Oh yeah, i shaved the rest of my body and when question at the lab about doing this, i told them i train in Vale Tudo/Jiu jitsu fihgting and shaved becaused when fighting, alot of fighters use body hair to their advantage. Dont use the swimmer excuse.

alright heres my tale:

first the stats: 6'2" short light brown hair, 165lbs, low body fat and high metabolism (i'm sure these last two characteristics don't affect the hair testing situation as much as with urine tests, but i can't help but think i have an advantage over bigger people with slower metabolism)

i would say when i smoked i was a light smoker, at the time of my hair test it had been about a month since i smoked. i might smoke five times a week but it was all really small amounts because i had good stuff and i get where i need to be really easily (just imagine now after not smoking for a month Hah) - so yeah - light smoker. another thing going for me.

so i found out i had to take a hair test and kinda flipped cuz i didn't think there was anything i could do...but i relaxed a bit after i found this site and the various threads. the macujo story sounded good and i thought considering the things i had going for me it would almost surely work for me.

anyway i got my hair cut a few days before i'd take the test, down pretty short, about to 1.25-1.5 inches, did the macujo method the night before (heated up the vinegar and tried to keep my head warm for that part (hard to do but i think it helps, if not can't hurt right?)) and the morning of i did it as well, then i used Detoxify Brand Root Clean (i have strong doubts about this product, BUT if it helped AT ALL i was willing to use it, and i figured it would help at least a little bit) - it was also the only product the head shops here sold and they all said it was great (of course).

well i took the psychemedics test, and on the forms it said if i tested positive or if there was a problem with anything they'd call within 72 hours. i took the test just a little less than two weeks ago - haven't heard anything, so i'm still not 100% positive, but i am pretty damn sure i passed.

yeah so i really feel like the macujo works if you do it correctly, how can it not??? astringent alone just disolves oily **** like nothing so....i don't know, i really believed in it maybe that helps. the root clean probably didn't help too much, but it could have, you never know.

i'll post again if someone has questions or if it turned out that i did not pass.

well, i passed the test, officially. i didn't get the *#@)(@% job though, because they did a background check, and among the notes of how great a person i am from all my previous employers, they found a five year old cannabis charge. - it was supposed to be wiped off my )(@#U$+ record +)(&#%@+)(&@#%+&)(%#@+()&@#%+@#()&%#%+@()&!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so i finally heard today that i passed the hair test!!! Here is my story: i stopped smoking on dec 21st, (regular smoker before that-daily 2-3x, mixed kind and middie) didn't do anything until dec 27th. used the maccujo method once a day (vinegar for 15min, clean & clear for 15min and then tide liquid)until jan.1st. the day before the test, jan 2nd-sunday, i did the maccujo 5x and believe it or not also included spray and strip paint stripper-talk about burning your skull!!!-the morning of the test i did the maccujo first then used the test-in shampoo. needless to say i passed the psychmedics test! i'm not really sure what did it (from what i've read here it probably wasn't the 80 dollar shampoo)but it did raise some questions in my head.
1) maybe they saw that i had a new wife and baby and that i looked very straight and narrow and also did well on their testing that in the interest of saving a couple of bucks didn't do the expensive hair test, rather sent out my urine sample (which with all the water and juice i drink i knew was clean).
2) maccujo did work: specifics, 6' tall 285lbs, active at work but still lethargic metabolism, brown hair -thin my whole life but all still there, kind of wirey
3)the paint stripper worked, i don't recommend this but if it works you do what you have to.
4) the promise i made to God that i wouldn't ever smoke again if i passed actually worked, just in case i 'm gonna honor that one plus this company still does drug testing , they call it random but i know people in the company who have been tested 2 times in a month after being with the company 20+ years so....
anyway i apologize for the length of this but i'm still in shock. this will probably be my last post unless i can help others so everyone out there be good and have fun but remember big brother is watching and doesn't care if you know it!! PEACE, POT, MICRODOT!! GIXXERBOY

I used aloe rid on my armpits 2 days prior to the test.
I then used the root clean shampoo exactly as directed. I smoked
weed the day before the test and my results were negative. Detoxify's
root clean worked for me. Keep in mind I am bald, 24, and they took the hair from my armpits. Peaceout and Goodluck!
