Hi Kids, It has been 17 days since I took my hair test (Psychemedics) & I have not heard any negative news. My computer depatment has been outsourced to another company & they took hair samples from about 15 people. No one has received any negative news. We begin working for the new company on March 1st. If I had failed the test shouldn't I have heard something after 17 days? Thanks, Tom

yes, you should have heard something by now. if it was a negative result, they may not inform you at all because there's no issues...

If he tested positive the MRO should contact him. If he tested negative having the job is proof. The company doesn't usually come out and say "you passed your drug test".

I Passed!!!!! I Passed!!!! Here's my story!!!!!!

"Hi Guys,

I finally went in to give my hair sample yesterday.

So here's the complete list of treatment I did:

I last smoked on 1/2/07 before that took 1 week off. But before that, I used to smoke about 1 bowl/day....

I MacCujo'd 8 times total incl. day of the collection.

I used George Mitchell 3 about 8 times total.

I used Nexxus Aloe Rid about 8-10 times total.

I bought Clear Choice Hair Follicle Shampoo which was only one available locally. But I didnt find anyone having good results with it.

So I also bought the Zydot.

Night before the test, I MacCujo'd.

I got my hair cut to 3/4". I was 44 days clean so approx. 19.36 millimeter = 0.762 204 724 inch of hair growth. I also realize that my blood keeps depositing the chemicals till about 5-10 days, and here's where I was hoping the treatments helped.

Morning of the test, I did another MacCujo Process.

Followed by Clear Choice.

Followed by Zydot.

I was freaking out that they might take body hair because my hair seemed short, even though the stylist sd it was 3/4".

Luckily, they took the hair straight from the top of my head. No one said anything about it being short or anything.

Whole process took about 5 minutes total.

Now, I have my fingers crossed and hoping for the best....

Let me preface this post by expressing how truly grateful I am for this forum and more importantly for the people who share their information here.
In short I have passed the Quest Diagnostics Hair sample test (1987ON Hair-5).
The expanded version gets slightly muddled.
I was recently offered a better position with a company. I am a very casual smoker. Rarely, if ever, do I stray from dug-out (e.g. bat, one hitter, etc.) process of smoking. It never dawned on me that they would require a hair test. I had abstained from smoking for 3 weeks and had taken an over the counter urine test and passed. In my mind I was all set.
Upon accepting their offer they scheduled the pre-employment drug test at a local hospital and handed me the sealed packet to take there. To my complete and utter surprise the packet said 'drug screen via hair test'. I had 4 days to prep. Needless to say, I was slightly edgy.
I ventured to the web and ran across an over-abundance of products that guaranteed to clear my hair, but upon further investigation of reviews these products were not building confidence.
Then I came here. I read multiple threads regarding the McCujo method and decided that was the route to go. I purchased Heinz White vinegar (5% acidic value), could not find the clean & clear so I bought an acne wash with 2% Salicylic Acid and of course liquid Tide. I had cut my hair twice over the previous month (not related to the test, just had it cut). It was (at time of test) appx 1 inch long on top. I performed the McCujo the night before and the day of the test (4 hours prior to sample cut).
While standing in the shower I liberally poured the vinegar directly onto my hair (bending over to avoid contact with eyes) and fully soaked my hair. I let it soak in for 3 minutes and then used the 2% Salicylic acid acne wash. I let this remain on hair for 12 minutes. btw, it didn't burn. I then lathered tide on top of this and let remain for an additional 5 minutes. Finished with a regular wash and condition.
Although I passed, and am truly grateful, I must point out there are many variables to my situation.

1. Very light cannabis user
2. Two haircuts
3. Religious 1000mg vitamin C nightly user
4. Abstinent for three preceeding weeks
5. Blonde/grey fine hair

Regardless of the take away from the variables, thank you to all that have shared their stories, feedback, support and results here.

Ok, well I think I passed.

Details:

Clean 93 days, prior to that, multiple daily smoker for 15+ years
light brown sorta fine hair, about 1.5-2.0" on front top, approx 1.25" back top

Quest Diagnostics 1987ON HAIR-5 pre employment test for a major Las Vegas casino corp. Testing facilities next door to where they took my hair, no shipping it out, they said 24-48 hours for results.

2 days before test-

1/2 bottle of wal mart brand apple cider vinegar, vigorously massaged onto (dry) hair, for about 10 minutes. I mean vigorously massaged. Like using my fingernails and scraping that shit into my scalp.

Then added about 3 palmfuls of Equate brand acne & skin toner, with 2% salcylic acid. Vigorously massaged this shit in as well, for about 5 minutes.

Added a capful of normal formula Tide. Massaged that crap in until there was so much glop on my head, it was dripping everywhere. Left it all on for about 5 minutes, then jumped in the shower and rinsed it all of with hot water.

Shampooed with some shit that has propylene glycol in it, rinsed that out, then shampooed again with Nexxus Aloe Rid gentle clarifying shampoo.

Dried with a clean fresh towel and a new comb.

1 day before test, repeated procedure twice, the second time using an entire bottle of vinegar this time.

Day of test- nothing, not even a normal wash.


2 days after the test, I got an early phone call from the employer. Oh shit, they're probably calling to say I failed. They say I have to come down and "sign something", and if I don't sign it then I can't start work (orientation, training) the following Monday. I ask if there's "a problem", and she says no. But they wont say on the phone what I have to sign, dammit.. So I drive down there expecting the worst. I get there, and it just turns out I didn't check off a box on my Gaming Control Board application, and they need to submit it before I start work . So I check off the box, and she says "We'll see you Monday, Good Luck!"

So my guess is, they don't submit the paperwork until they make sure you passed your drug test first. They (hopefully) got word that I passed my hair test, then reviewed my paperwork before submitting it to the state, which is when they caught my incomplete application. So I'm guessing all went well.
