Stats:

- Moderate Heavy/Smoker of Midgrade Marijuana, does not use other drugs
- 5'9 145 lbs Italian Origin, Dark Black Hair, Very Wavey
- Abstained 58 days before test
- Smoked maybe 7-10 times during detection window period (90 days)
- Hair Length 2 Inches
- Only had 24 hour notice
- Testing Lab Quest Diagnostics

Method:

- 3 Macujo Treatments, 2 the night before, 1 the morning of the test
- 1 Modified Macujo (I forgot the tide)
- 1 Acetone soak (yea I know bad idea)
- Used Zydot right as I walked out the door to get tested

Result:

- I passed the test, and saw the results sheet. I noticed that they only tested for 4 panels. Marijuana was not included on the test results paper. I'm wondering why?? If anything I'd think that would be the number one thing they'd test for. I'm thinking either A. the company isn't worried about pot use, so they don't bother to test for it, B. I failed, and somehow it was omitted, C. I passed, but it wasn't listed. I really have no idea... this is weird. But who cares? I got a job!

Sorry for being impatient... I posted this similar question yesterday... also, sorry because I am either too stupid to start my own thread, or the system won't allow (I'm a newbie).

I've read all postings. All very useful info. I am posting to get some peace of mind as my situation is a bit unique (no prep time allowed), if someone would be so kind as to share their thoughts...

Stats:

43 y/o female
Been smoking 20+ years but occassional use only (i.e. intermittent weekends only, share a bowl or two with husband)
Decreased use to about once per month or less around October 2006 and used only 2 or 3 times in last 90 days (again small sessions, pretty spread out, last time was about 3 wks before sample taken)
Light, thin, reddish hair, with some grey coming in
5'1", 135 lbs.
Exercise: occassional yoga/pilates, treadmill (no running)

Situation:

Had initial interview and was told to come in again to meet w/HR to complete negotiations and sign offer letter. SURPRISE!!! Nurse took a chunk of hair for testing right then & there on Friday. Been freaking out all weekend (it's now Wednesday, and Monday was a holiday). No prep done - was caught completely off guard! Though I do color my hair about every 6 weeks to cover grey.

Questions:

What are my chances of passing; would I be considered "occassional user" and hopefully w/b below tolerance?

When do you think results will come in (we're supposed to be moving out of our apartment this week, contingent on whether I actually have this job)?

Quite a pickle, huh? I REALLY REALLY want that Chicken Dinner...

Well, after getting some awesome advice from this site, I have FINALLY taken my long-awaited hair test today. Let me tell you guys the story on what happened today and then I'll go into detail on my methods. Basically, I have two job offers. One, I already took a urine test for and the job is pretty much mine and pays really good. The other, the one that requires the hair test, pays really, really good. So after getting the final interview today with the really, really good company, they said they would call me Monday and possibly send me for a drug test. I was so pissed because I woke up this morning and Maccujoed and did a Zydot treatment. But then about five minutes after I left, he called back and they made the decision to send me for the test, which indicates pending results, the job is mine!!!

Well, I have been clean for 20 days, before that had one smoking session on the 5th and then was clean for about a week prior to that session. Smoked about 2-3 times a week for three weeks in April and a few bowls at the end of March. I started Maccujoing on the 12th once a day then after two days started doing it twice a day using a generic Aloe-rid shampoo after the Tide in the method. I maccujoed between 20-25 times during that period. The last few treatments, I left everything in double time and let me tell you....OUCH!!! Then this morning, maccujoed and did Zydot treatment and applied regular hair gel. I did get a haircut on May 19th where as my hair was about an inch and a half long and told her to cut it down to one inch. The haircut I got before that was on April 30th. I went to the drug testing place and she cut only one sample from the back and two from the front which I wasn't expecting, but I did wash all of my hair so I'm ok on how I applied it. She was going to go for chest or armpit hair and I had shaved it all off about a week ago and my leg hairs weren't long enough! The test was through Quest Diagnostics. I hope this was nice and detailed and sorry for it being so long! Can the experts give me some odds on my chances of passing this damn thing!! I have been stressing for a while now. But at least I have a fallback but I'm talking about a 10,000 dollar difference a year in salary!! Either way, I will let everyone know what the results are and once again, thanks for everything!!!

edit: oh yeah, both jobs have a target date of me starting June 4th, so not much waiting time, I will have an answer really soon from the hair test!!








Well, after stressing hardcore about the results, and calling the MRO and the collection site several times over the past two days, I got a call from my employer and said they wanted me to start next week!! Above is my treatments and I just want to say thanks again to everyone that helped out!!

A word on the wait time. If you take the test on a Monday or Tuesday (not considering holidays) you may hear back by the end of the week. If you take it on Wednesday or later, you are probably looking at the next week.

If this information is accurate, I say you should get that chicken dinner. Come back and let us know your results. It is reported that you can smoke 2-3 sessions in the 90 days prior to your test and still pass.

No, I didn't know how to "quote" on this thing earlier. My newbieness is really getting to some of yall I'm sure. I took it last Friday and got the results today. Where's my chicken dinner? And another thanks to everyone!
