Alright well i got busted 8 months ago with possession. About 2 months later I get 6 month license suspension with a hair test at the end.

I stopped smoking around January 12th. Since then i have not smoked one time until my test, which was April 1st. That leaves me about 80 days without smoking. The lady at the court didnt even cut my hair very close to the scalp either. Before that last smoke i only smoked a joint or bowl every couple of days, nothing crazy.

I am 5 8, 145 very high metabolism. My hair also grows pretty quickly.


test came back negative in 3 days. i guess quest isnt so good at testing??

Treatment was:
5 sessions of baking soda paste (10 Minutes), rinsed, followed by a good scrub of Swimmer's Shampoo with PG.

Got my results back today.Quest. Passed.

after much research online I found a site that stated the company that offered me a great position did hair testing, I found many techniques and products to help me pass this test, I am AA I was told to perm my natural black hair and use several harsh chemicals to try to break my hair down on the basis of what i saw on the companies website. SOOO when i got to the testing I was surprised to find that they do SALIVA TESTING!!! HOLY SHIT i had not prepared for this, i am a VERY VERY heavy smoker, today being the third day without my herbal medicine. but for some astounding reason I PASSED and now have the job of my dreams with a great company! I NEED A SMOKE!

ps thank you guys anyway for all of your help and research I felt really prepared when i went into the test, until i found out it wasn't the right test.hahah I need a deep conditioner now thats for damn sure! much love you guys

I used biowash alone for my hair test & failed...wish I had come here first & I would've been using something else in conjunction with it all along.....Live and learn I guess. And all I do is smoke pot!
This is a fantastic site & forum!! KUDOS!!!
Good luck to anyone else facing a drug test & don't rely on hair detoxifying products alone--use a combination of products/ agents!!!

85 days clean...

I had frequent haircuts to maintain 1.5" to 2" of head growth.I could not let them go to body hair. I knew the date the test would happen, which helped.

I used the Mac Method (10 minutes between treatments with a shower cap containing the treatment) and Zydot.I finished off with PM3. Although I did not and most likely will not get my results, I still have a job.

I can now feel confident at looking for another career if I so choose. I will miss my favorite vice, but after the first 30 days it got allot easier to avoid it.

I look at all this, kind of like the lottery...if I don't play-I haven't got a prayer. It wasn't the lottery but I played and had a little peace of mind that I might pass.

First off, thanks to all, especially Jerry, SEC, and a handful of others. Also, a special thanks to whoever is responsible for putting this site together, because without it, I would have scrambled all over trying to find the info which is contained in this forum. Thanks.

Scenario
Bald, so they had to take armpit hair
was about 34 days clean
moderate smoker (2-4 one hitters every 1-3 days for a number of years - above normal quality).

Macujo for first four days then quit (hated smelling like vinegar after working out)
Main method: Hot towels under each arm for 10 minutes prior to entering shower
baking soda paste 15 minutes
Liquid Tide 15 minutes
Paul Mitchell III 15 minutes
did this every day.

Used Just For Kids Relaxer - 5 minutes (burned like hell, left moderate chemical burn, and sorta fried right pit hair, which took 4 days to "heal")
After burn was healed, switched baking soda for Oxiclean Powder (ph of 11)
repeated Tide, PM III steps.

Two days before test did same thing, but rinsed out Oxiclean with Toxin Wash (twice same day)
One day before test, same thing.
Day of Same thing, and did a zydot treatment.

Now, I have smoked nearly everyday of my life prior to beginning to look for a job, and then cut down smoking. I also had the benefit of knowing two of my prospective employers performed hair tests. So, I had plenty of time to research, and implement tactics.

Here is what I think worked. As mentioned, I am nearly bald, and blonde hair. This definitely helped.
Being able to have at least 20 baking soda/oxiclean washes definitely cleaned out SOMETHING. The Relaxer was some potent stuff, and because I saved my hair from being melted by only applying for 5 minutes, I think I basically damaged the hell out of it. That particular relaxer lists Propylene Glycol as the second ingredient. IF YOU USE IT ON YOUR PITS, DON'T GO PAST 5 MINUTES, OR HAVE A PROFESSIONAL DO IT!!!!. I can't tell you how bad this stuff burns the shit out of your skin.
Due to higher ph of Oxiclean, combined with Toxin wash, I think this was key. Again, i only had to do my pits, so I was able to make the quantity last much longer.

That being said, I bought every product under the sun, from bleaches, dyes, relaxers, nair, macujo crap, etc... I highly recommend you to do a few things to save time, money, and agony (mental and physical).

1. Research, research, research. Figure out what your history has been like, your hair type, length, ethnic persuasion, and any other variable which plays a role. All this info and how it relates can be found in this forum, and is INCREDIBLY PERTINENT to the method you should use.

2. Don't get cheap. If you need to buy two bottles of Toxin Wash, or go to your stylist a few times, then do it. Don't get confused about spending a few dollars now, when you will be making thousands on your new job.

3. Assume the worst, and begin prepping now for a hair test. If nothing else, start doing macujo or a similar method, as it will at least begin doing something. Each day spent doing nothing, is a wasted day. The best thing you can have is time, no matter how much you actually have. Start doing something now!!

4. If you are posting on this forum for help, do your research first. The people here are very smart, and are willing to help those who help themselves. Don't just ask "What do i do?" Research, formulate an idea for a plan, and ask about your plan specifically. Also, keep your same post circulating, so those who try to help don't have to play detective and look all over to follow your story.

5. My personal thought is that the macujo method may have some truth to it, but I think Jerry has it right.... Bleach/redye (preferably twice minimum) is a better choice, and has a more consistent success rate. Especially for heavy users.

OK, I'll get off my soap box now. Good luck to everyone who has to go through this mess. I swear I have gained three new ulcers due to it.
