Ok, I smoked 2 hours prior to my test: Brushed teeth Mouthwash Hydrogenperoxide Stinger Mouthwash Saliva test sent to Quest Diagnostics I did not pass. Very dissapointed that I wasted $25 on the Stinger.

| Hi We have done a lot of research on this site and wanted to share our results. My Husband was a regular user and he quit for a week & 1/2 than did the MacCujo method four days in a row and used Toxin Wash the 4th day. Sent a sample into Hairconfirm and it came back negative. All you really know is that his levels are low. If you really did your research here, you would see that in the last three years(since the cutoff levels were lowered), the Mac method has a very spotty history for heavy users with little clean time. | |

Jerry G, I have done a couple of searches after your post to find out what the cutoff levels are for employment hair test and could not find an answer. I don't want to bother you with repeat questions, but could you help me? Thank You

Please start your own thread, this stuff clogs up a thread that is meant for results only. I'll answer you in the morning.

Passed! Test 5'8" White Male 162 Pounds, very active, run about 8 miles 3 times a week. Bike about 30 miles. Been clean 30 days, before that smoked on 5 April 2008 two hits swag weed. before that maybe once or twice a month earlier. I was informed I had a hair test two days in advance. I started the Mac method that night 2 times let it soak good each time. then washed my hair with Aloe Rid After and let that soak about 30 mins. then did Mac one more time. After that washed my hair with T Gel and let that soak. On the day of the test, I Woke up and bleached my hair, and then redyed it. After that rinsed out and washed twice with Aloe Rid, Then Did Mac method one more time before heading off to the sample facility. My hair is about 1 and a half inches long atm I had it trimmed once since the last time I smoked. When I arrived at the facility the guy that took my sample did not cut it close to the scalp and took it from the top of my head. What do you guys think my chances are? Aloe Rid now is a waste Jerry G is right. Pink clean and Clear is a waste too ( Has no propylene glycol in it ) make sure if you do Mac method the Clean and Clear has this in it. I did not do the Zydot either but thank god its all over. If I did it again I would Do baking soda paste in hair, then used the mac method after rising out the paste, then bleach hair, mac method once more after bleaching, then redye, wash with tide once more then Zydot and go to test. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :ange l:

I passed, I can't believe it! I'll detail what I did in hopes it will help someone else, I did use the shotgun effect. THANK YOU to everyone who's shared their experiences here. Female, 30's, little longer than shoulder-length straight fine dark blond hair. Smoked for 22 years, moderate to heavy. Also 3 or 4 extracurriculars in past 4 months. Zero days clean. 24 hour notice. Night before: Hair bleached by hairdresser with shampoo-in bleach, #40 peroxide. It lightened my hair a few shades, didn't bother to dye back. This step burned more than any other. Morning of: Wet hair with cider vinegar, rinsed out (they recommend this to strip surface gunk, so perms take better). Combed in store-bought perm activator, left in for longest time directed. Rinsed out, washed hair with Paul Mitchell 3. Combed in perm neutralizer, left in as directed. Rinsed out, washed with PM3. Blow dried completely. Wet hair with cider vinegar, covered with plastic, left on for 20 mins. Added Clean & Clear Astringent, blue with 2% salicylic acid, covered with plastic, left on for 20 more mins. Added big handful of Tide liquid original, scrubbed for 5 mins. Rinsed out, left hair damp. Applied baking soda paste, left on for 5 mins. Rinsed out, washed with PM3. Washed with PM3 again, added lemon juice. Covered with plastic, and hot towels, left on for 15 mins. Rinsed out, applied PM Strength to try to help repair the damage I just did, covered with plastic, and hot towels, left on for 15 minutes. Rinsed out, drove to test. I did use some cheap conditioner occasionally between steps, cause my hair was so rough and knotted to my head, it was crazy. Took about 3 hours or so, I've never been in and out of the shower in one day so much! Back of one ear was sore for a day or two, and hair rough for about a week, but feeling much better this week. Thanks again!

My hairdresser told me to do that with the shampoo and lemon juice. I didn't get a chance to find out why, but figured it couldn't hurt my chances. Thanks for the congrats, it was quite a bad hair day. I forgot to mention the lab was Quest.

Took test today. Was 109 days clean. A light smoker b4 that. Smoked about 1 hit for 20 days between Dec. 25-Jan. 22. Clean four months b4 that. Sample was taken from the underarm. In early February, did about five Macs. Then, bleached underarm hair in March. Redyed four times since then--last time about one week ago. In between, was washing with PM3 every day for the last two months. Lastly, did a biowash treatment last night and two applications this morning b4 the test. Have even trimmed the longest part of underarm hair on a coulpe of occasions. Chances, opinions? I think I should pass, but will not count chickens b4 they hatch.
