Hi Everyone, My name is Dom and I live in Melbourne Australia where we have just become the first place in the world to introduce roadside saliva drug testing, how lucky are we? I have been smokin the evil weed for many years and i smoke on a daily basis, I am absolutley sh****g myself. I have already had 2 lucky escapes where the cops have had a full house, so to speak and i was waved on thru to live again. For the first offence it is a $300 fine, but what worries me the most is i have the type of job where my employers would find out straight away and i cant afford to lose my job. Is there anything on the market there in the U.S.A or anywhere in the world which really works in beating or passing the Saliva test. If anyone can help you'll have a friend for life downunder..Cheers and thanks.

The only proven way to beat a saliva test is too abstain. Some people have passed after smoking 5 hours before by just brushing their teeth, using mouth wash, and even breath mints. Now that is NOT proven and is only speculation. Good luck with the new laws...

You shouldn't smoke for at 48 hours if possible, but you cantry using strong mints.

I passed a pre-employment saliva test just by brushing my teeth like normal, rinsing with mouthwash, and chewing gum before the test. So if you're real worried about it, I suggest getting some strong mouthwash like Listerine and just go crazy with it and rinse for like 10 minutes. But, I really can't tell you if all this will work, or if I passed by just extreme luck, but I can tell you, I smoked within 12 hours of the test and passed it, so I hope it works for you if you ever have to take one. Don't smoke or carry mj in your car.

Try to avoid driving for at least 12-24 hours after smoking mj.

The detection curve starts to drop off after 12 hours, and is supposed to only detect thc up to 24 hours, although there have been some exceptions.

Brush your teeth and gargle with strong mouthwash like listerine after smoking and again before going out driving.

Carry some gum or throat lozenges or whatever in your car to try if you end up in one of those stops.

Watch for a pattern of these stops, around here sobriety checkpoints are common near the clubs on the entrances to the freeway on friday and saturday nights. I avoided one a few weeks ago by simply taking the side roads up to the next highway entrance instead.
