I had read someplace that they use Methanol to seperate the drugs from your hair. There is a product called Snap Gas Line AntiFreeze which is 99-100% Methanol...... Any ideas on whether this would work? After reading further about the actual test they actually soak it in methanol for 18 hours (i would not advise anybody to soak their hair in methanol for 18 hours) then spin it for 5 minutes. Anyways just some food for thought.... also after reading about methanol it should be fairly non irritating in skin contact unless exposed for quite a while but it is VERY VERY flammable so be extra careful if you try it.

Just found this table.... looks promising... this shows how much cocaine was left in the hair after several types of rinsing. Cocaine is much harder to remove than THC.

Essentially it says Methanol rinsing removes 76% of decontaminates.

After reading further it looks as if this isn't a good way... the actually use the methanol to wash the hair before they actually test it not to was the drugs out to test for them. But i found a site ran by a governmental agency that discussed the use of vinegar and other such solvents to wash the hair some and acknowledged them as actually working but dismissed it as a problem because they only wash out a little and not enough to sway the test except for very casual use.
