Hello all. I seem to have gotten myself in a jam. I have a probation appointment for Monday, Feb. 14. I have been a chronic pothead for the last 5 months and my P.O. is more than likely going to do a saliva test (cotton swab). I haven't smoked since Friday morning. I was wondering how can I pass my test without buying some product?
P.S. They send these saliva tests to a lab!!!!! Does that make these things more accurate?

Mario, i believe you are in luck! i don't know about the lab making them anymore accurate, but everything i've read says that saliva tests detection period begins to drop off after 12 hours, and is supposed to be over after 24 hours max, however there have been some reports of exceptions noted up to 48 hours. since you have 72 hours+ clean, you are right on time, good to go. but if i were you, just for a little added insurance, right before your test gargle with strong mouthwash like Listerine, and then use a cough drop or chew some gum or drink a pepsi or whatever... anything to help keep the saliva from just building back up right away. good luck

Actually, I caught a break and she didn't even test me! Thank god. Thanks for the help though guys!
