Wish I would have seen this site before proceeding with my court ordered hair test. I bought the Test'in shampoo & products and used them the day I had to test. (This is for you all who are waiting for some results on here) I regularly toke up, I mean regularly..(multiple times daily) as well as take prescribed Percocet. I called to find out if I needed to get a letter of explanation from my doc in case if I tested positive for the percocet since I claimed I hadn't taken any in months and wasn't sure if it had been detected (which I also use regularly), and they told me that I didn't test positive for that and they couldnt even go over such results over the phone. SOoo I was FREAKING OUT!! I needed to know if THC showed up or not but couldn't blatantly ask. So I called several of the companies to find out "if the shampoo washed out 1 thing then wouldnt that mean it would wash out all"?? Thier answers were "more than likely", but to me that is not a definate no or yes. One company told me that chemical would be harder to cleanse than herbal, so the herbal would have been out first, and usually not the other way around. Can ANYONE explain this theory to me, and provide me with some reassurance?? I don't go to court for about another 2 weeks, I can't worry myself sick over this.. For gods sake its just MARIJUANA!!!!!!!!!! LEGALIZE IT PLEASE!!!!!! btw as soon as I get the results I WILLLL post it and let you ALL know yay or nay..

I wish I could give you a straight answer, but hair test are still a mystery to me. Perhaps Grillmeats can shead some light for you. Anyway, didn't want you to think you post was being ignored.

Hair tests are tough to pass, especially court appointed tests. You should do whatever it will take to get retested. Shave your head and start from scratch. You also need to quit smoking, maybe talk to your doctor, let him know of your problem so he or she can give the answers you'll need to pass.

One problemo with that is.... Im a girl with really pretty hair, not about to go bald for some tree smokin good times.. but.. I went today to physically get the results cuz they are in, but the girl who gives them is gone for the day and they werent able to tell me anything, guess I'll have to wait it out. I will keep ya posted.. So I can scream and throw a fit and claim someone gave me food with it in it at a party??? hmmm. lots to think about, better off waiting...

Hair test is a puzzle for everyone. I can tell you that once in the hair there is no difference between herbal and non-herbal. They are both chemicals, at this point, with different chemical properties. Unfortunately I am unable to tell you what chemical would be washed away first. Your pretty hair is an important issue and I wouldn't mess with it. If you ever get retested try, after test'in washes, All Clear on the morning of the test-day.

May I ask where you live? And why you have to answer to court? I'm on probatiob for DWI in Travis County, TX, and I raised suspicions during my last urinalysis (what with the Vit. B stained pee and then the very water-like pee upon retesting). I'm a little nervous they'll hair test me or something next time. I hope you're well, and I hope everything's going as smoothly as possible. I'd love to hear from you.

By the by--I'm a chick w/ purdy hair, too, so the shaving thing is out of the picture.

I have been involved with custody issues rather than probation issues. I NEVER thought any of this was ever possible. I never used drugs until recently and some experimental in the early teenage years so??? If you want to know more about my situation there are some thread replies posted on the "Need Hair Test Answers!!", "Hair Results Are In!!", and "Testing in determination of custody?" -- which is probably the most informative. I have known people that are on probation and if they truely want no more problems and to get off of it and be worry free, they usually quit smoking unless they are as stubborn as I am. I was fortunate enough to make an agreement where my hair results were never mentioned in court (since they were dirty). I don't think it will be as easy when dealing with a dirty hair test (since there is no proven method of cleansing it) when it comes to explaining a positive test to the judge. If I would have known any part of my situation was going to happen, I would have gone back and quit when I had the chance... Then started back up again as soon as I was in the clear. I have spent ALOT of money on herbal cleansers for 2-1/2 months worth of weekly random urine screens. My body ended up immune to them I suppose.. which made them dilute. I also spent time and Alot of money for the hair shampoo(hopefully I'll see a refund) but none of it was worth it since it all made my situation drag on for longer.. and when I hear people talk about the expense of a hair test... Don't let the cost fool you from them making you do a hair test. They seem to have the power and they can make you pay for it. I had to pay for mine--$65.00. Hope any of this info helps.. I need help. I read a lot of posts in here of methods used for passing a hair test. I had my test this morning and was wondering if I am able to pass or not, GEEZ, I wish I found this site yesterday when I was told to take this test today for a new job. Anyhow, I used to be a regular Pot Head, back in the day, now I am an occasional user. Exactly two months ago, was my last use. May 27th and 28th. It was only two pinners. I got a small bud for a housewarming gift and enjoyed it as I settled into my new apartment over that weekend. Before May, I had not smoked since the year before (June 2004) and before that a pretty regular user. I have quit for the most part, but love an occasional joint. I had my test today with no methods, Anyone out there in the same boat as I , and passed the hair test??? They took a chunk out of my hair on the back left of my scalp, and I have shoulder length, dark blond, thick hair. Thanks a bunch.... FINGERS CROSSED.....
