Default Blood testing

Im visiting a clinic concerning weight loss in about 2 weeks. They will be doing a blood test, although I'm not sure what they are testing for. I've smoked a few bowls in the last month. Should I be concerned? Also, if I test positive what would the consequences be?

Blood tests generally register positive for just a few hours after smoking, though heavy chronic smokers may be positive for a couple of days.

Hope that helps. N2
