Hi all,

I just had a few questions and I've been scouring this site for about 72 hours straight, ever since I found out I had to take a hair test. I wasn't even sweating a test for this new job, I knew I had one, but have beaten a few.

I'm a 27 y/o female with plain (not too thick or thin) kinda wavy brown hair. I've smoked about everyday for the last year or so. My hair is down past my shoulders with my longest layer at about the nape of my neck.

First, I'm trying everything listed here. I've started vinegar/Aloe rid shampoo, but I also purchased this stuff by ABBA (I got from a salon) that is actually labeled a hair detoxifyer (it has 2 types of EDTA and baking soda). Along with killing my hair, I am doing a 7 day detox program where I have to take a sh*tload of pills. I wonder if that will help?

I am willing to do anything to my hair that works. Since it is so long, I will do anything to it including cutting (which is a given), professional stripping then dying or perming/relaxing. I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion or data showing which chemical treatment may work the best.

I am doing a modified Macujo, using Phisoderm face cleanser (still 2% sacilic acid, only it's in a wash type of form and not liquid, if that makes any sense)Aloe Rid etc.

I want this job desparately and I know the guy that hired me would be mortified...this really stinks. What a violation, test me if I f*ck up, not when I haven't yet..

This forum is great and I'll post when I take the test and when I get the results on the other thread. BTW, I bought Root Clean (not an endorsement) for the day of...

whenever I want it to be in the next two weeks. I have all the paperwork already. My guess is that they want it sooner rather than later.
