i have to go get my menigitis shot for school on august 6th,and even though only one person out of maybe 10 got blood drawn,im afriad i might too.when they give you the little prick on your finger,thats a blood test correct?if so what will they be testing for if they do it to me,am i screwed?i smoke almost a bowl a night and the last time i smoked was july 19.will i be clean by august 6th if i stop?

what the hell are you talking about...

a prick on the finger....sounds like blood testing for sugar levels if you are diabetic....

why would your college stop you from going if you use drugs? and why do you need a meningitis shot to go? sounds weird to me...

but I wouldn't worry, I'm sure they only test if you have a serious blood problem like AIDS or something...who cares about drugs....there's something called a "confidendiality agreement" where the doctor can't go spreading your personal information without your consent...

im talking like my parents finding out,like my mom going to the doctors office with me and they come back with a blood test saying i had traces of THC in my blood or something?

so how accurate are hair tests? does anyone know? am i cronic user i smoked it alot one day and then it was more of a mono thing for a couple of the days the past 3 months so am i cronic abuser and will it sho up on my hair????? HELP!

Higher Logic

All colleges test for meningitis, especially if you live in the dorms; they also require your shot records to be updated. They don't test for drugs, and even if they did and found THC, they legally cannot tell your parents, especially in college since you are 18+ (usually). It goes against the confidentiality of patients and doctors.

isnt the prick on the finger then they drip your blood into some tube to test to see if u have to much iron or something in your blood? I remember them doing that before i donated blood before,

I lived in the dorm my first two years of college at Rose-Hulman Inst. of Tech. (4-year undergrad school), and I wasn't tested for meningitis.

The only test I was asked to take was for tuberculosis.

i got a meningitis shot yesterday, the shot itself didnt hurt untill later that day. it felt like someone punched me in the arm or something. and dont worry about the blood, its not a drug test. i had to get my blood drawn to see if i got all my hepititis shots and i was a little worried but they dont test for drugs just what ever they are looking for in the blood.
