Ok, I'm going for a job soon in the next few months and I have been clean for about 6 months (I got wind of the job a while ago and quit because they do hair test to get hired). But, I saw a friend of mine who currently works at this place and he said they "can" do random tests if they want and to not take a chance and basically never smoke again. I don't know if I can never touch pot again but this is a great job for me and I don't want to screw it up thats why I havent' smoked in like 6 months. I know I'll pass the original test but once I get in and work for 3 months I'm then in the union where it takes an act of congress to get fired. ****, if they do test me the first time they can't even fire me they have to send me to a drug treatment class or whatever so do you guys think it's safe to pass this original test and then start smoking again? I'm just trying to get some feedback from people if you have work in this type of company that does random hair test..seems a bit extreme to me. I mean, don't they only test you if they suspect something? I'm a health nutt and workout everyday so I would be the last person anyone would think that smokes but I do like to endulge at night to relax me before bed and smoke a little. I know I'm getting ahead of myself and I should get into the job first but this has been really bothering me knowing I'm gonna be making good money and have an awesome job but I may never be able to smoke again. thats just too much for me to deal with lol. anyways if anybody works for a "tire" company in the factory and has this similar situation I would appreciate any feedback .thanks!!
