Blood test question

How long does it stay in your blood? I've read several messages on this forum but nobody seems to give a clear answer. If this blood test tomorrow comes back positive I will be going through a divorce. I am so stressed. Tomorrow is the 7th day I haven't smoked. I have to take a urine test and blood test at 7 AM! Should I get up all hours of the night and guzzle water? Anything I can do today for my blood? THANKS guys. I need your help so please reply.

The detection window in blood is 72 hours. THC metabolites are detectable in urine a lot longer. It depends on a lot of things:

There are a lot of factors that determine how long until you're no longer carrying enough THC metabolites to test positive on a urine test.

1)How recently you smoked.
2)How much you smoked.
3)How often you smoked.
4)What quality you smoked.
5)Your percentage of body fat.
6)Your metabolic rate.

All of these are considerations in estimating how long a person will take to be "clean".

On average a daily smoker will take 30 days to be "clean".

Drinking a lot of water is not the answer. It's easy to over-dilute and come up with a "negative-dilute" result. Follow our guidelines:

If you haven't smoked in 7 days you should be fine for your blood test. You should dilute for the urine. Just curious, why are you getting a blood and urine drug test? Most places do one or the other. There was a board member that posted that he passed his blood test after abstaining for only 3 days - so 7 should be plenty.
