|  Need Helpp!! I smoked for the 1st time in about 3 years or more, i wasnt even a big smoker in the 1st place but i would occacionally about 3 years ago..then about a month ago i took 3 hits of weed and just found out about a job opening, well i got the job and have a drug test in a week and it is a hair test. i have a low fade hair cut abouot 1/4in and go to teh barber shop every week, i had my head shaved bald about 3 weeks ago. does anyone here think that i will fail this test?...if so or if not can someone help me out with what to do?..i got the "test in shampoo" but dont know if that will work now. Thanx in advance. |

| can they just measure back in time by teh length of ur hair or is it in ur hair as it grows more up until about the 90days..?...i read so many different things on google i dont know what is true or not |

| They take the inch and a half of hair closest to your head, which is approximately 90 days of growth. No attempt is made to determine when in that period drugs were used. They don't try to test further back than that because the natural breakdown of the THC metabolites makes such results unreliable. |

|  your hair test the same thing happened to me and I passed the hair test. I mean I smoke along time ago than I smoked about 3 hits within 3 months before a hair test and I passed. Just to let you know |
