| I had my first hair test today (psycemedics) and from what I've read on this forum, I think I am safe, except that I have a slight worry.... I have not smoked now for just over 100 days, prior to that it took me about 6 months to go through a 1/4 sack, about 1 or 2 hits a day (maybe a bowl on the weekend ). In anticipation on getting a job, i quit early July.Fast forward, "contigiant upon pass of a drug screen" I have a job. So to make sure I ordered a home hair test kit (Omega Labs), followed the instructions, sent only 1.5" of hair about 60 strands. The test came back negative. good! This was roughly 2 weeks ago. *NOTE: I have cut my hair twice since I've quit, the first time was short about 1.25" about a month after I quit, the second about 1 week ago, but I didn't cut the long stuff (I like my long hair to much), I just trimed the back and sides short with #2, but left the top alone. So today "the man" took about the 60 strands or so from different portions of my head, but did not trim the longer stuff to 1.5" . Now from what I've read, they will only test the first 1.5", is this true? will psycemedics only test the lower 1.5 inchs or do they not bother and throw it all in the mix? In which case I might be out of luck...I will post my results when I know in a week, any reply's and thoughts are welcome. Thanks |
