Despite the countless questions already posted about saliva testing, I need to get mine answered for piece of mind. I've been a 3x's a day smoker for 2 years. I last smoked sess on Sunday, October 23. My P.O. is giving me a drug test on Wednesday, November 2. That gives me about 10 days clean. Is this 72 hour gurantee thing for real? What is the best type of altoid to chew? How long and how many altoids/mouth washes/ teeth and gum brushing should I do to be completley safe? Most importantly, should I be worried or can I really beat this *****? I would greatly appreciate specific answers as opposed to the copy and pasted list of grillmeats' guide, only because I've already read it religiously. Sorry to be a bother/inconvenience, I know this place has seen one to many saliva posts already. This site is one of kind, I really appreciate the service that you guys provide. Any advice/ reassurance would be most appreciated. Thanks a million

This is what I would do if I had to take a Saliva test.
1) Stay away from MJ for at least 24 to 48 hours. 72 hours is the best.
2) The day of the test you should clean your mouth big time, brush, gargle, and floss.
3) You should take Altoid Mints up to test time. They might ask you about mint intake, say "NO".
4) Wait to get the notice from your new employer on start time.
5) If they fail to call within 7 days, call them.
6) Please use the Poll Too! Wait Till You Pass

You'll have no worries. I have passed saliva tests for jobs when I smoked the night before. I am surprised your p.o. gives your saliva tests.
