hello, i have noticed that most posts are towards chronic users and not much information available to people who might have tried mj once or twice within the 90 day window of the hair test so i decided to post this so that people like me might benefit from it in the future.

i smoked some mj (not too much, wasn't completely stoned, felt pretty good though) for the first time about 55 days ago, will be taking the psychemedics hair test in 5 days or so.

it says everywhere that the detection time is up to 90 days, but you can't really be sure how little they can detect since you practically get all your information through two channels : testing companies that sell to employers and companies that sell pass-your-test products, both have good reason to make the tests seem accurate and scary.

one testing lab website i looked earlier but can't seem to find now mentioned that the tests are designed to point out habitual use (three or more times). nothing scientific since can't point out the source but reassuring nonetheless.

here's how i am preparing for the test. maccuj0 method (apple cider vinegar soak for 10 minutes, 3%salsylic acid acne medication for 5 minutes, rinse with tide) and later nexxus aloe rid, mitchell number 3 and some dandruff shampoo that contains salsylic acid again. will keep doing this for 5 days.

i will also blow dry hair since heat helps to reduce traces (so does vinegar).

i'll let you know of my results as soon as i find out. in the meantime, i'd welcome suggestions, advice about what else i can be doing, what my chances are.

if i get rich, i'll lobby to ban drug testing or pay to research the ultimate low cost cheating medication.

i had to take the test with only 3 days of preparation instead of 5 days. got a real short haircut before the test, about .75 inches. luckily the lab person didn't want to use body hair, she just cut big patches from the sides of my head. i will post results, hopefully i won't have to re-take the test.

By cutting your hair, you did what you needed to do. The abuse you gave your hair, most likely did only that. As you cut below the usage date....
