my dads telling me i have a drug test for my green card. is this true? he has lied before to get me to stop using. does the government actually drug test? i know they give you a physical... if they do, the last time i smoked weed was thursday night (2 days ago). and the test is sometime next week. i dont smoke often, and not alot (2x a month if that, and only a dime bag or so). im 6'2 160 pounds, eat a ****load of food, never gain weight.. im doing the dilution method i read. but the question is really wether or not the gov. actually drug tests for green card. ive been doing research and cant find any info on it. if any1 here has ever needed to get their green card. any info would be awesome, thanks

(they check your blood too, so iunno if theyll check it for drugs)

I looked through US Citizenship and Immigration website and I didn't see anything about drug tests at all. Hope this helps:

ok, thanks alot. if anyone else knows any other info, by any chance at all, id greatly appreciate it. i need all the help/info i can get (btw im from germany, if that helps, not a bad country or whatever)

If they test, it's for Diseases, not drugs. You can be deported if it came up positive.
