ok. i am sooo glad there is a place like this. i have been reading for about 3 hours and i am feeling better about this. but i still cant help being nervous. i last smoked about 8-10 weeks ago. when i smoked i did it 2-4x a month. i had my hair cut to about 1/8"(maybe less). now my hair is 1/2"long after i stopped smoking. i am 6'4 160lbs and very active(gym 3-4 times a week). i wash my hair with normal shampoo (suave) every 2 days. i got offered an internship and i knew i would be clean for blood and urine testing. the lady takin the samples really threw me off when she started talkin bout a hair test. i got really nervous! she took the samples and i left. i didnt do anything but drink detox tea for two days to be sure i was clean that way. no maccujo. nothin. the woman who took the samples said that a test could be positive if you smoke everyday. but still i am extremely nervous i really need to know what yall think about my situation. help!!!

Be sure to let us know the results when you get them. I am very interested to know the result with the fairly light smoking with 8-10 weeks clean vs. the cut off point on the test, without any shampoo or method.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! thanks for letting us know. I was waiting to find out. Although body chemistry, etc. are different it is good to know. Good luck in your future.
