I'm 22 years old, 6'3 150lbs and a chronic user...I'll have quit for 6 days prior to my saliva test, and I've cleaned my mouth like crazy for the whole time, a couple times a day. I feel fine about my chances of passing, but I have a quick question to throw out there just for consideration...

I have a pool at my house...knowing chlorine is used to kill bacteria in the pool water, would it help to gargle some pool water to increase one's chances of passing a drug test? Just wanted to see what other people thought before I give myself credit for a brainstorm

The chlorine is not necessary. After 6 days of abstaining for a saliva test you should be fine. Just follow Grillmeats sticky for saliva testing and you will be fine. Saliva tests are supposed to be the easiest to pass. See the following link:

He already feels confident on passing. The question he wanted answered was:

And I gave my opinion. I don't see where gargaling with pool water (chlorine)would help. Why would someone even want to do that when you can use minty fresh mouthwash as stated in Grillmeats sticky.

Yuck!!! If what you said is true you will absolutely pass it. I'm a heavy smoker and have passed saliva tests with only 2 days clean and no treatments. Don't worry...

There is no reason whatsoever to gargle with pool water.

Put the bleach down and slowly step away from the diving board.
