Never Done This Before

Ok i have to take a saliva test on friday. i havent smoked in months but i was around it on tuesday night and i know i breathed alot in cause i was in the room for a while... will this show up on my test? i didnt breathe in enough to get a contact buzz or nothing... should i worry?

If you haven't smoked in months you will pass with no problems. Second hand smoke don't matter.

i took the test on friday and they didnt call me all day saturday. they told me that they would have the results by mid saturday... it was a Non-Dot saliva test by LabOne... is it normal to not receive a phone call right away? oh and before i left i brushed my teeth for like 15 min and i used mouthwash... would that mess the test up?

If they would have the results by mid Saturday, it was not going to a Lab. If they ship it to Lab One, it wouldn't arrive until Monday. Then it takes 72 hours maxuim. I would say you should know your results by next Thursday or Friday. However call them and speak to the person who is hiring you, and ask them why they didn't call you Saturday.

well the dude said that they ship it to them and then they email the results back and that is why it doesnt take very long at all... i am just hoping the women was off or something and is planning on calling me tomorrow. if i did inhale enough of it for it to show, i had over 48 hours for it to leave my system... im just hoping it was enough time. i will update everyone when i find out if i passed just so people will know if secondhand smoke can make a difference. i am so paranoid and i aint even high... lol... whats that about? lol

You should know by Thursday the latest

the job finally called me today. i took the saliva drug test 10 days ago! and i passed

the secondhand smoke did not phase the test!!!

i was a little worried though because it was taking them so long to contact me. but all is good!
