I was just officially offered the job. Here is what I've found out so far. They do saliva testing. What's that? I'm scared again. My stats: I'm 40 years old, 5'10 and 154 lbs. I run almost daily for about 3 miles. I have extremely high metabolism too. It has been 2 weeks since my last toke(1 tiny puff) and 3 weeks since my serious smoke(3 puffs). I've tested at home twice, negative both times, but they were mid day samples not first sample in the morning. I didn't test early in the morning because I see no point in doing that since I'll be tested in the afternoon. My second test result line last week was much darker than the first result line. My test will happen on monday(4/24). PLEASE SOMEONE RESPOND AND HELP ME. They also have told me they may do both tests, saliva and urine. This company is a like "big brother" for sure, but they pay well.

I passed in 3 days time. I have a fast metabolism, weigh 180 but am mostly muscle. I took niacin and goldenseal, although I am not completely sure it helped more than working out. Took about 1,000 mg niacin and 1500-2000 mg of goldenseal a day.

I am trying to create a database on how to pass a Saliva Test. I need your help. Why? Because we are all different. Our Bodies that is.

I want everyone to pass. To do this I need your help! Please be honest. I've already done tests myself. This will help ease the stress on you Saliva Testers'.

This is what I would do if I had to take a Saliva test.
1) Stay away from MJ for at least 24 to 48 hours. 72 hours is the best.
2) The day of the test you should clean your mouth big time, brush, gargle, and floss.
3) You should take Altoid Mints up to test time. They might ask you about mint intake, say "NO".
4) Wait to get the notice from your new employer on start time.
5) If they fail to call within 7 days, call them.
6) Please use the Poll Too! Wait Till You Pass

This is basically the testing procedure. I would think that most are self contained like this one, But there is probably of course differnt ones.

Hey Grillmeats, I am new here and appreciate the info. I smoke very little herb, only at night, and only a couple of one hits at the time, I go all out if I smoke three little bowls, even then I don't hold the smoke for a long time. It is more social than anything but mostly I smoke everyday. I don't smoke before work or when I am around the public, only at night before I get ready to go to bed. I have a hard time sleeping and it helps with that.

I have a spit test tomorrow, for a job that I need to help catch up on some bills. It is Wednesday night and I haven't smoked since my two tokes on Saturday night. I have been drinking a lot of water since Sunday morning, and taking hot showers to make me sweat. I am very thin, like a size 4, 5'8" woman. I am really thin and have virtually no body fat. I obviously have a high metabolic rate, everyone tells me that I am scrawny. I am not anorexic.

Maybe I need to smoke more to make me eat so I will gain weight. lol.

I am pretty active, walk a lot, play hard, roller skate, purposely park far away from stores, just to get in the excercise. I don't want any fat in my business.

My question, do you think I will pass? It will be almost 96 hours from the time I last smoked until the spit test. I think it is an onsite test and they said if I passed I would start the next day. In otherwords I think the test is done onsite and not sent out. They have a warning sign out for potential employees not to seek employment unless you were drug free because of the drug test.

I am a little nervous about it, it is not that great of a job, but hey, anything that helps to pay the bills is good and this job is only 2 miles from my house and with the gas prices, that will be kind of like adding to my base pay.

Any thoughts would be most appreciated from anyone.

Thanks to both of you, considering we have receptors in our brains for MJ or cannibus, I figure God put it here for a reason. Genisis 1:29; God gave us every herb bearing seed. I also read that people have enjoyed it for over 4000 years.

One day, I hope that it will be legalized. Do you know that at one time it was mandatory for colonist to grow it in this country and that after Dupont introduced nylon that it was made illegal. Money talks.
