OK well I just took the test today. I just got my haircut a week ago and it was probably 1 inch tops, but the collector took it from my head. I will update when I get my results back. BTW it was a psychemedics (sp?) test is this company's reputation?

1" is what they took from me also. That will give them approx. 60 days history, which is half of the 120 days it has been since you smoked. Psychemedics is one of (maybe the) leaders in the drug testing circles.
If the history you gave is correct you WILL pass.

I sure hope so lol. My dad works at this company and hooked me up with the job. In fact they went ahead and started me assuming i will pass the test so I REALLY need to pass lol. it seems like I should but I am still parnoid because of the importance of keeping this job. anyways when should the resuls be in?? and will psychemedics call me or are the results just reported to the company? I am assuming if I have not heard anything about this in a week I am good. Another thing i failed to mention is that I was not a heavy smoker at all recently. Since I left for college in August I have smoked probably a total of 10 times, most of which occured over my christmas break in December, and then none after the end of December.

There should be no reason for you to fail if you have not smoked since December.
The employer probably will never discuss the test with you. They are assuming that you KNOW you are clean. Why would you be concerned? the employer probably will only let you know that you passed by putting you on the payroll.

After my hair test, I got a call from HR and she asked if I was ready to start work and when. There wasn't any discussion about the results. I figured that I passed and surely didn't ask, if I did. When you signed the consent for the test, you were actually saying,"No problem, I don't take drugs." I know of 6 people that have went for a job interview and when they found out they had to take a drug test said they weren't interested in the job anymore. They didn't know about this site at the time. NOW they may be willing to take a chance.

Well looks like you guys were right I took the test Monday the 8th and am still working, so I am considering my self as passing the test lol. I wouldnt think it would take longer than that to get the results back. anyways thank guys for easing my worries and helping me out.
