I'm really scared. I have to take a hair drug test in 2 weeks. I've stopped smoking for 4 months now, but before that I was a fairly heavy smoker (3-4 times a week) for about a year. I'm a girl so It's not like I can cut my hair. Do you guys think I have any thing to worry about? I read that they just test the hair closest to the root if thats so I should be o.k. right?

You should be okay. From what I understand is that they can really only go back 90 days.

Don't lose sleep. The laboratory is only supposed to test 1-1/2 inches of the root end of the hair. Anything beyond that is excess and not tested. (Unless you work for soemone who is REALLY paranoid and wants to try to get a life's history from your hair, which is very unlikely).

My point? Unless you have smoked within the last 4 months therefore allowing the THC metabolites to be deposited inside your hair, you have nothing to worry about.
