hey everybody i had been a heavy user for many years now, im talking like 2/4 times a day, and very potent stuff. i wanted to get into a career field so i can make some good money and i stopped smoking roughly march 26. today is april 26 as u know so ive stopped for about 1 solid month now.

to make a long story short the job requires a hair test. im not exactly sure when the test is, but i know for sure its in the summer, my guess is that it should be around July sometime. i know that will be making it close for the 90 day mark.

in preparation i havent smoked since i stopped and won't. i won't even go around it anymore (might get tempted hehe). and i have been getting haircuts and have been trimming my body hair to about 1/2 and inch. im a very hairy person, my hair grows extremely fast.

anything else i can do to be 100% sure ill pass? im looking into using the nexxus aloe rid shampoo which i will probably buy tomorrow. its hard enough not being able to smoke a cool one, so u know the little anxiety that i have inside, well more like paranoia also about failing the test. any advice and direction would be greatly appriciated. thanks in advance

If you don't smoke between now and your test, and your test is not until July, you will pass any hair test with no treatment what-so-ever.

Chill, With the haircuts you have already gotten, I don't even think you would need to trim your hair any more. If you have enough hair (length) on your head, they will NOT take body hair. Just make sure that when it comes to test time, you have at least more than 1 inch of hair on your head.

Listen to sec3 he/she knows about the tests. Everybody lately wants to cut all their hair off. If head hair don't pass, body hair won't either.

damn right after i posted this i shaved my body hair even more, even all of my armpit hair

but the good thing is the hair on top of my head is like 4-5 inches long so as far as that im good. i feel so much lighter also from all the hair i shaved out, :lol:

Shouldn't have got so anxious If people have a resonable question they will usually get a response in less than 24 hours. Oh! well. Good thing you don't live up here in NNY or you would freeze. We just got another cold snap and it was snowing yesterday.

hey everyone, hope all is well!

just a quickie, i've read that being around someone smoking weed won't effect the hair test at all. i just wanted to confirm this as this past weekend i was at my friends house and they smoked about 3 blunts of some commercial stuff. i had the window open and there were fans blowing, just wanted some assurance that ill be ok.

also 1toke, the hair is back. i think chubaka is my distant relative

i just had to say this is my 3rd month being clean, 90 days, so im good to go for the hair test! yay!! i hope this provides inspiration to anyone with a drug test coming up.....not easy for the first few weeks then its easy as cake minus the constant dreams about toking up LOL

Quite true. It is the second most important thing in my life (except for the first, my family), and yet it wasn't hard to quit at all. In fact I could still go out and get some for my gal and not be bothered by it at all, and not be tempted.

Also, when you get back into it a couple o' hits will just about knock you down You have those laugh attacks, you know the kind you experienced 10 years ago when you first started. My father-in-law (a rare smoker) always gets those, and man, I was jealous. He is out-of-commission high off two tokes, I mean can't-take-him-anywhere blitzed.

So take quiting for awhile as a positive, it can be. But yeah, the dreams......
