| OK..This one is probably for SEC3 too.... The results come back as a ratio of metabolite to Parts per Million. A ppm over 1.0 is a fail for THC. Does that estimate require the clinician to measure/weigh, the sample? How does the lab know volume of the hair being tested so that they can come back with a ratio? If they cut a length that "typically" results in a known mass of hair, then are thicker hairs disadvantaged? By extension, then, are thinner hairs advantaged? this way? Is this why they thinner hairs seem to have a better pass rate than thicker hair? Or caucasion smoker's hair a better pass rate than black smoker's hair? Thanks in advance |

| Mine came back 1.6...so is that still a long way from passing. I figured it would be a lot higher (see other post). I did this test on my own last Thursday, got results today. Have to do the real thing this Friday!!! |
