i had to take a hair drug test today. the last time i had smoked was in jan. and i only took one hit. the last time i smoked really heavy was the whole month of november. i am 5'3" and i weigh about 120 and my hair almost reaches the middle of my back. i have dyed it alot since jan. am i gonna pass??

Generally, hair tests look at the inch and a half closest to the scalp/skin, approximately three months growth. Due to the breakdown of the detectable chemicals in the hair, attempts to look back any further produce results which are not reliable.

You just passed a saliva test this month and got the job. If you haven't smoked since Jan. You SHOULD pass.

Is this the hair test for the job you just got? I am just curious, if you got the job passing a saliva test and now they are going to hair test you.

no this is another job. i am tryin to work 2 jobs over the summer to make more money. its with delphi and its jsut a temp job. so i should be ok?

If you haven't smoked since Jan. you will be fine.

Well i passed! i was a little worried because i read somewhere that some tests can detect it in your hair up to 6 months but my test only detected it up to 3 months
