Is there any way to have them take hair from a specific site of your body and not another? I feel more comfortable Macuujo'ing my armpit hair than my actual hair- anything I can say/do to have them take it from there?

Also, how long of a sample size do they need? My armpit hair is a little longer than 2 inches (when straightened). Will that be enough?

They like an inch and a half sample. If you have hair on your head, that is the first place they will take the sample if it is possible. sec3 could give you more info on collection.

If you cut your hair short everywhere but where you want them take the sample, they'll have no choice but to take the sample from the area you want.

While this is true, it is not always practical (i.e.: if you are a woman or an actor, model, etc.). The protocol says it is preferable to take the hair on the head. If that is not possible, then look to other areas of the body.

I suppose you could cry and beg. If the collector feels empathy for you, they might take it from your legs or arms. I know the arm pit would be one of the last choices I would make. (ranks right up there with back hair, and I will not take pubic hair).

Do you, as the collector, make the choice or would I have a choice. I wasn't given a choice and it wasn't cosmetically a good spot to take the sample from the back of my head. It was VERY obvious that someone whacked a strip of hair out of the back of my head.

If I feel there is enough hair on the head to take a specimen without leaving an obvious blemish in the hairstyle, then that is where I SHOULD take it from. It is up to me ultimately. If I feel that there isn't enough to give an adequate sample, then I will look to the body. If that is also shaved, I will call the employer or TPA (Third Party Administrator). At that point, I will follow instruction from the employer or TPA.

Hmm, so I guess I shouldn't count on being able to make a plea to the sample collector then.

So I've Macuujo'd my head once. I never felt burning at any point in the process. Is this evidence that the vinegar is not penetrating deep enough or that I'm messing something up generally? My hair is pretty thick.

If I remember correctly, it didn't burn everyone. Let the ingredients soak and massage into your scalp.

So I've been Macuujo'ing steadily, about to go for my third time. Hopefully do it a total of 6 times before the test.

Now here's a meaty question. Any excuses for false positives on hair tests? I take medication known to cause false positives for THC (NSAIDS- advil type deals), but I don't know if this only applies to urine tests. The PR manager likes me alot. Could I convince her, in case of a positive result, that I'm clean and its just my meds?
