The method I use is somewhat damaging to hair, but it worked for me and many of my friends. I do however know of 2 people it did not give passing result. I use 30 volume creme developer and quick bleach powder, you can buy these at any beauty supply store. The day before test i mix the 2 according to directions on package, I put it on my head very thick and I scrub it into my scalp ( not supposed to do this according to directions ) I use 30 volume because my natural color is light to med. brown, 20 vol. for blondes and light red, 40-50 for dark red,brown or black. The label says to leave on hair for 30-40 min., I go for 1hr.-1 hr 15 min. I then shampoo and condition hair and put red vinegar and baking soda on hair and scrub deep into scalp, I leave on for 15 min and repeat shampoo and conditioner. Let hair dry and let scalp rest, a couple of hours and mix 30 volume with hair color ( i suggest picking a color 25 % darker than natural color because hair should be white and free of any pigment after bleach) apply hair color and leave on for 20-30 min. rinse out shampoo, condition, repeat baking soda and vinegar,wash and condition third time. I have did this the day before on 4 tests, my friend prefers 3 days before, but on May 24 I went to court and was ordered immediate hair strand test, luckily it was 3:30 pm so I was unable to make it until next morning, this time I did the bleach at night let rest while I slept, got up around 7 am and dyed hair back, took test at 9 am. 3 business days later negative results, and I am a heavy user of (Off*Topic) and marijuana. A few final suggestions... bleach grabs hair better the dirtier hair is, so don't wash a day or 2 prior, and I always buy new brushes, combs and sleep on clean sheets and pillowcase so I don't recontaminate hair
