I am so determined to beat this hair test that I bought 3 different detox shampoos online. I bought Folli-Kleen by some unknown company but it was on many websites, Ultra Klean's Ultra Cleanse, and Zydot's Ultra Clean. I was hesitant to buy the Zydot product becaue it is 3 different application products and each step only contained 1/2 fluid ounce while the other 2 are 2 fluid ounces. I thought that with the larger volume products I would be able to saturate my hair better, which is short on the sides and back but long enough to test on the top and front. I had already been using vinegar and salicylic acid shampoos before coming to this board and reading macujo's process. I even have used clorox on my hair twice. I also added Paul Mitchell 3 from seeing people on here use this. I have the Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo but not the preferred Aloe Rid treatment. I will continue to use the macujo's method until the day of the text (6-21-06) but then I planned on finishing with 2 of the 3 shampoos and keeping 1 in reserve.

My question is does anyone have any first hand knowledge about these 3 detox shampoos and whether or not they passed or failed using these.

I sure hope people who are using things such as clorox on their hair are getting plenty of ventillation and/or using at least a 1/2 mask respirator and goggles. Safety first!

This point has been brought up to me several times but a lot is riding on this hair test and I am willing to use asphault degreaser if it worked! I have dark, thick, hair and I wouldn't recommend the clorox to anyone especially anyone with light hair or skin. It is though, a little easier to work with than the vinegar because it slightly viscous and doesn't run everywhere like the vinegar. I now actually use the vinegar in a spray bottle and I use the clorox while in the shower so that I can flush out my eyes or hair if needed. I have this untested theory about the clorox because of an old friend that did some work at a forensic hair lab years ago and like I said, I am desperate to beat this hair test.

Please don't misunderstand. I didn't say that about the safety because I thought YOU were careless.

I cannot stress enough that each time someone posts a dangerous chemical (yes even household bleach) to use on the hair, it is necessary to also post safety tips and recommendations along with it.

There are many, if not most, people on this site who will just see a word or phrase and run with it, not reading the entire post or thread. It would not surprise me if in a few weeks to a couple of months someone posts:
I read somewhere that asphault degreaser will work to clean out your hair,
even though no one ever said it actually works. I guess I am just overly cautious in what I say or how I phrase things.

i failed a pre-employment test hopelessly using ultra klean products, i have tried contacting them several times and have recieved no reply.. now in saying that it's my issue i failed, but in all seriousness these fellahs are simply just hoarding money off punters and getting rich selling junk to the unsuspecting

There money back guarantee is a crock too, you need to supply your test result to recieve your supposed 500% money back.. i was not aware till post test that you cannot by law recieve or obtain your result, so Ultra kleen have themselves covered in that regard

i feel for you having dark hair as dark hair absorbs the most amount of metabolite , whereas grey hair absorbs the least ( i have researched that one but cannot find the literature or a link to confirm this)
.. get your hair bleached platinum blonde till it nearly falls out or shave your head smooth as a babies bum..
if i can find this report i will repost don't submit to a hair test it can go back as far as 7 years depending on hair length and has been proven to be unreliable

I got a pee test commin soon, so I am tryin to abstain. Man is it miserable. I wish you best of luck on hair test...but cant help due to lack of info. But man, thanks for the laugh...the asphalt joke. lmao.
