| I started a job at Rio Las Vegas this week. I know their drug policy states that they "reserve the right" to conduct random testing. What does this mean in terms of the real world implications? Most of the time I've understood "reserve the right" to be the unspoken drug policy of pretty much every company - but that they don't test unless they have cause. How does Harrah's handle this? Do they do random testing or do they just say they can to hold it over your head? Thanks! |

| It means that they have a right to implement a drug testing program at any time and that you now have been given notice that they may begin random testing. It doesn't mean that they will start random testing tomorrow, it means that you have been given notice now so they dont have to go through a notification process later if or when they want to start testing. |
