hey guys, just want to say i think this is a great forum for people to learn about the tests. the threads i have read have been very informative. that being said, i wanted some opinions after doing some research. i have a test coming up at the end of the week...unsure of what kind but i want to take the precautions i can.

the last time i smoked was about 60-65 days ago, i smoked twice around this time. i rarely smoke, once every 3-6 months maybe? im a skinny guy (6'2 - 165) and had my head shaved probably about a week after those 2 times i smoked. the test is coming up at the end of the week and im wondering if i should shave my head again or if that will just cause them to take hair from somewhere else? hopefully its just a piss test but this is my career on the line so im prepared to do whatever i have to do, but i'd like to avoid tide in my hair if i could.

thanks in advance for your help, you guys seem to have all the information and help a lot of people out. i will certainly be back to post results in this thread and the results thread, hopefully it will help someone else.

With your very light smoking and time clean, you should pass any drug test you have to take if you continue to abstain.

The only test you need to worry about is a hair test - you will pass any other test without a doubt. With regards to the hair test, DONT shave your head again. They will take a sample from another place. Furthermore, if you shave all the hair off your body they will take nail clippings instead.
Even though you shaved your hair a week after your last session, it is still possible the metabolites could have been deposited in your hair after this time. How long is your hair? Depending how how fast it grows, cutting it to 1" the day before the test could remove any THC metabolites that may have grown into your hair (assuming you have average hair growth of 0.5" a month) - if you have the numbers you can figure this out. Also DONT cut your hair any shorter than 1".
Finally, I (like others on this site) recommend a MacCujo the day before the test and day of . Based on the fact you smoke rarely, have only done so twice in the last 65 days and shaved your hair 1 week after your last hits I think you will pass a hair test with flying colors - cutting your hair the day before the test and doing 2 MacCujo's should ensure this is the case

BTW - the Mac method isnt nearly as bad as it sounds! People only really run into problems when they use this method extensively or for much longer times than those recommended. You shouldnt experience any problems if you only do it twice.

In my opinion, I would skip the haircut (people tend to get carried away) especially when doing treatment to ensure passing. If you treat your head hair you definitely want them to take the sample from the head. I still think they will pass without treatment, BUT like you say it doesn't hurt.

Yeah, listen to cyclops and 1tokeover. What ever you do don't shave your head again. You would probably pass just on the fact that you have only smoked twice in the last 90 days. Had you shaved your head about 14 days after smoking and not 7 that would have been close to perfect but it is way too late to shave again. That will only force them to use a different area or the nail and you don't want to macujo method all your body hair! Two macujo's would be no harm, no foul like cyclops said.

my hair may be just short of an inch at the moment actually...its right around there. if its not an inch would it be pointless to do a maccujo the day of?

also is the maccujo as intense as it sounds? it sounds like its really involved or does it just seem that way? best thing is to get a friend to help you out right?

They may take a little less than an inch. If you want to do the MacCujo method go ahead. It may make you feel better to do something. I think you will pass without it. It's not that involved and you can do it alone. I used a spray bottle to apply the vinegar.

If your friend is of the opposite sex and hot then by all means get their help! No, it isn't that hard that you need a friend to really help you and it isn't that bad either. The first few times I did Macujoy my hair actually felt softer than before the treatment. It isn't that bad so it really couldn't hurt to do a treatment the day before and the day of even though your hair is short. Better safe than sorry.

Edit: Ok, I reread your first post after writing this one and I saw where you wrote you were male. So if your friend is a girl and hot, then by all means get her to help you!

Getting a haircut directly before the test all depends on hair length. I agree with you 1toke in that you want to make sure they take a hair sample from the head and if that hair is too short they will go for the untreated hair. Since allcleans hair is slighlty shorter than 1" he should NOT cut it. However, if his hair grew faster than average and was say 1.4" long then it wouldnt hurt to cut 0.2-0.4" off the hair. In this case, this would absolutely remove all traces of any deposited drug in the hair and the hair should be long enough to test.

I guess what we need to know is will any drug testing agencies reject a hair sample if it is only 1" long? What is considered too short before another source of hair is taken? I know a lot of people have had hair tests with only 1" of hair but I wonder if there are exceptions to the rule (I havent seen any but could have missed them)?

There have been people that had to be re-tested because of insufficient sample. I don't remember where they are, so I guess you will have to take my word for it. There was one guy in particular that had(going from memory) 1" of hair and I suggested he didn't cut it. I believe sec3 also suggested it. Anyway buzzed his hair and ended up failing from them taking untreated hair. Sec3 may remember who it was. He/she is good at that remembering stuff.

My sample was an inch, give or take an eighth and it was accepted and I passed. I really don't know why some are acceptable and some aren't. Maybe sec3 will be along and shed more light on the sampling part.
