Hey my first post
Well quick history I was a heavy smoker until first week of Oct. 2005. A few hits in Nov. and Dec.(maybe acouple of hits each time 5 or 6 times).Passed a piss test at the end of Dec after being clean for 10 days with no special help. Then in first two weeks of Jan. 2006 smoked every day a bowl or two. Then quit for one Month. Then At the end of Feb. 2006 and beginning of March smoked the same as in Jan. Then quit again for a month. Then came across some blueberry(1/8 worth)smoke until April 24. I have been clean for 87 days cut my hair three times during that time. Took a Drug hair test on July 20th. My hair lenght at the time of drug test is 1 1/2in.. Didn't do any of the method on this board(I felt I was close enough to the 90 days cut off). I was wondering my chances of passing it's stressful this a hugh job (bnsf). Please give me your opinions(1toke,buzzy(sp)). I've been reading on this board for about 6 month now. With 87 days clean you should pass. The 3 haircuts will help also. The only go back 90 days with each half inch of hair representing approx. 30 days. I will be very surprised if you don't pass.

Yes you are wrong. Hair tests only go back approx. 90 days and I doubt very much someone could be clean for 6 months and fail. People have a tendency to forget how long ago they have smoked. All in all your sources of information are false.

If your hair growth is less than 3 months, then there is no way they can achieve 12 months of history. Think about it. If the hair isn't there, they can't test it. Your statement makes no sense.

I think 1toke is on to something. People tend to exaggerate or the story gets more dramatic over time.

Thanks for the imformation I believe you are right 1toke. It's just what I would call a "real job". I was tired of working dead end jobs. Very stressful waiting for the pass or fail email. Also the lady that took my hair said they would be going back 90 days no more. I wish the government would legalize weed. I believe weed is no worst then cigs or alcohol. The hair test is a Psychemedics test. What is Psychemedics test or is the name of the company that does the testing for bnsf? Are they hard to pass? thanks again Bluntsmoke8

Psychemedics is the name of a testing company and one of the leaders in the industry. A hair test is a hair test. There are guidelines set by the government and those standards for testing are supposed to be followed.
