I know there is probably already a topic that has my answers somewhere here, but after looking around the internet for some information im a bit worried now.

Alright, so I am trying to get a job at a company, I already passed intial tests and im just waiting on their background checks and a callback for interview, and some tests. Now i'm confident i'll get called back, however I was hoping i can get some peace of mind from some of you folks.

I use a vaporizer to smoke. After starting out with bongs and joints, I found the vaporizer to be a godsend. At first I only went over my cousins house every week or 2 to get completely obliterated, but then we both were going for the job and thought we had to quit for the test we were scheduled for in March. So he gave it to my dad whos a pretty big smoker, however I had my own supply and after the test and waiting on the real deal I started smoking up on my own.

Now at first it was merely just casual, once a week, in the morning or at night when i had time to myself. The idea then was that, casual smoking cant hurt. Its supposed to clear up shortly if i keep doing it in that manner.

However recently I'm told there is a VERY good chance i'm going to be called in for the interview sometime during the later half of August. And just a week before that I got pretty heavy with using the vaporizer. And thats where I stand now. Maybe a month before might get called in. If I fail the test then, I stand to lose a great deal. I could really use the job, and the fact I have a good friend who works for the company helping me along thus sticking his neck out for me and my cousin.

I checked around the internet looking for some good figures for how long heavy use of marijuana in any form would turn up on a blood test. (Were told its a blood test. However I'm worried they might pull a fast one with a hair test or something. I havent checked back to find out the finer details.)

Anyway looking around I turned up some figures saying it only lasts a week or 2. Others say its around a month for heavy usage which puts me in no mans land where I can probably pull it off with excercise and drinking lots of water (and some goldenseal though I hear its not a good idea as it can muck up tests.) However another site I found has the detection period up to 11 weeks. Which is not a good time. It is a very bad time. This bit of info did not help me out at all as smoking had become a big habit of mine, and im havign a hard time as it is staying holding off in case there isnt enough tiem to clean up in a month or a few days less then that.

Anyway thats my case. Sorry for the long post but I'm getting worried after seeing a few sites similar to that 11 week figure which is to say the least freaking me the fek out as I can lose a chance at a great job and also screw over my friends trust after he stuck his neck out to get me moving along the process a bit faster. And having to face him would be worse than failing the test.

sup b. yo for an occaisonal smoker detection is 2-3 days habitual is 2 weeks maybe less than that if u drink water and exercise. try not to exercise the day of the test as a precaution. i have no idea where u got ur information from but look around. some sites show bs times to scare u into not smoking. and even if am off on the time which i strongly doubt. my aucle passed his blood test after quiting a month before the test

Blood detection time is under a week, around 24-72 hours. I have never seen 11 weeks and I will dread the day if it comes that they can go back that far with blood. Drinking lots of water and goldenseal will do nothing for a blood test BTW. Urine detection can be much longer than blood though, up to 60 days for some people who are heavy, daily users and even more for obese and sedentary people (the record on here goes to a 400 lb man who tested positive 105 days later).

Well im going into this thinking its a blood test. However I get the suspicion its probably going to be urine as it seems to make more sense for a company to use that method.

I'm more interested in cutting down on the levels for either possible test rather than trying to pull a fast one with a different sample if its urine. If its the blood/saliva im in the clear. Urine, im not out of trhe woods. My dosage went up the last week where like every day in the afternoon around 11 and at night around 12 i would smoke up. Except for weekend which i think i only smoked at night. Prior to that week I was still doing the once a week thing.

Not really sure if that would catapult me into the heavy users lvls but i can only assume its possible.

We are getting into urine testing with this thread now. I will say though, that a home urine drug test will give you the answer you seek.

Post all your urine testing questions in that forum.

For blood and saliva, you should be in the clear come test time. Hair, you would need to take precautionary measures. Instructions for that comes in the stickies at the top of the blood, saliva and hair testing forum menu page.
