I read the Mac method and have though of doing it. I have some Spectrum Labs URN Luck Get Clean Shampoo.

What do you recommend I do? My 3 month drug history is smoking (a couple hits each time) on 6-20-2006, 05-02-2006, and 05-28-2006. Let me know what I should do?!

Also, my hair at it's longest point is 2" and I'm actually going to get it cut a bit shorter right now.

Hopefully you don't cut it much under the 1 1/2" that they like for a sample. If you have the Mac method materials, by all means do it. You MAY be able to pass without it, but why chance it. If you can do it tonight and again in the morning. At least do it in the morning.Good Luck and be sure to post your results.

So you say keep it at 1 1/2" ?

I'm thinking the Mac method a few times tonight and then the shampoo I bought in the morning. Or should I not use the shampoo?

If you haven't cut it yet. Yes. Keep it AT or close to the 1 1/2". That way they will take it from your head, where you have treated it. If you have the shampoo use it, but I would do the Mac method in the morning and then shampoo after. I think you may stand a good chance of passing. Make sure you massage the materials into your head real good. Don't just soak. Follow the directions the best you can.

Optical Echoe just posted their results and had similar smoking history. Read it to help calm your nerves and boost your confidence.

Well a little update and what I did:

I got my hair cut. Unfortunately when I measured it at home it was about 1 1/16"

Did the Mac method once last night for about a half hour.

This morning, repeated the Mac method, again, for a half hour. Then I applied Spectrum Labs URN Luck Get Clean Shampoo. I followed the instructions (apply to hair, put on cap, let sit for 30min., reapply, let sit for 30 min. with cap, and don't wash it out). So that was my morning routine.

I went to the test site, and fortunately (maybe) they clipped a nice chunk from my head. I read where they are sending it to and its Psychemedics. Is that good or bad?

I'm really hoping I get this job. It starts out at $20 an hour and I'm 19 and in college. Cross your fingers! Help me get through to Friday....or Monday!!
