Ok, so I have been looking on the psychemedic website, because I think that I am going to order the home test. Something that stuck out to me was that they state that samples should be 1.5 inches long, and 1/4 mile from the scalp. If 1.5 inches represents 90 days of hair growth, and I am cutting the sample 1/4 inch from the scalp, doesnt this mean that I am testing for further than 90 days history? The reason I ask is because I am a few days shy of 90 days without smoking, and I will definately be clean for 90 days when I get the test. but to cut the hair 1/4 inch from the scalp seems to extend my testing time fram?!? Any input?

Also, I have been reading about the benefits of Psychemedics testing for corporations, as I am currently interviewing with Pfizer, who I am pretty sure will be giving me a hair test. One of the benefits they list on their site for is that collections will be taken on-site. I am NOT comfortable with having someone from Human Resources, for example, taking a sample of my hair and sending it in to the lab. What if they cut too far from the scalp. Also, is there a possibility that a company can accicentally test the wrong end of the hair?
