Hi Guys,

Thanks for reading my post, I appreciate your help.

History: Last smoked on the 2nd of Jan. Smoked about 1 bowl a day for couple of months before that. Since 1/2/07 when I realised I would have to take a test, I have had NO USE.

Treatments:

Shampoo: Paul Mitchell 3 <-- 3-4 times total.
NExxus Aloe Rid Clarifying Shampoo <-- 5-6 time total.
MacCujo <-- 4 times so far

I plan on using the Clear Choice Hair Follicle Shampoo & Zydot the day of the test.

I called the testing facility just now and they said that they need at least
1/2" hair in order to take hair from my head. Otherwise, they will take hair from the body.

Since I have been clean for 40days plus... I was wondering if I cut my hair down to a little over 1/2", if that will be enough clean history to pass the test?

I definitely dont want them to take body hair.

Please advise.

I would be careful how short you cut your hair. You are correct if it is a 1/2" it will be approx. 30 day history. The problem is knowing who you talked to at the lab......secretary?? analyst?? collector?? custodian?? You really don't know or know how much they know. Just because they answered the phone doesn't mean they have a clue. I realize that they should but............
You have treated your head hair and don't want them to sample someplace else. They may take the 1/2", but what if they don't? Your screwed. It's your call, I am just giving you some what if's.
