this is going to sound really ignorant and whiny but the stakes are pretty high.

The last time i took a hit was last february. And that was only like, the third time, ever. None since then, havent even been around it.

When i found out about the test it was vday, and i had already shaved my pits so yea, that'll look suspicious as hell. they said i would receive a hair test in the next 2 weeks.

But right now, my hair is only 2 and a 1/2 inches. I've always kept it that short.

But my question is. Do i need to buy all the shampoo and stuff or after a year+ is it all cycled through? i've read this forum a lot lately and respect what you would think.

Don't waste your time or money on any treatment. 99.99999% sure you will pass. I don't do 100%. Don't cut or shave any more hair. You will be fine. Come back when you get your results and tell me I was right. I like it when that happens.

i just got the hair test done.

it was psychmedics. the nurse said it go as far back as six months, my hair was three inches long, maybe, at its longest.

again, no weed since this time last year.

i should find out the results in three days.

i mean, i didnt smoke weed in a year. there shouldnt be a trace. and my hir is moderately short.

im just nervous because this job is big.

so do i have anything more to worry about?

They test the first 1 1/2" from the scalp and discard the rest. Even if they did go back 6 months, which they don't, you would still be clean if you haven't smoked in a year. Relax....you'll do fine.

i got a call today, im starting work on condition of passing.

so the stakes just got higher since i gotta leave my other job now.

ive grown more confident after all your comments, and well, common sense. if i havent smoked in a year, than that means I HAVENT.

people invading my privacy just makes me nervous.

Most people are nervous about a hair test. You don't have any reason to be.
