I've looked EVERYWHERE and I can't find the Nexxus Aloe Rid Treatment in any of my local stores or on any online stores. Did Nexxus stop making the treatment? or did they just change the name to something else? Does anybody know where I can get it at? If not, is there a different brand of shampoo that I can use thats just as good or about as good as the Aloe Rid Treatment? peace ![]()

Ebay still had it the other day. Recently a woman posted that there is a generic brand or something that is the same thing. Check Ebay or do a search using the search feature. I don't think it was too long ago that the post was made. edit....check your PM's.

I just bought it at Wal-Mart. And when I say I "just" bought it, I mean literally. Like 45 minutes ago. Ran about $7. edit- I just foundthe following info when researching aloe rid- not sure if there's any truth to the following statement- "we only carry the old style Aloe Rid which is the most effective for removing toxins from the hair. The old style will have the barcode number of 05592 16035. Any other bar code number is not effective for the hair drug test." Now that statement was found at the TestClear website, not sure if they're just saying that as a tactic to buy it from them at inflated prices, or because there's any truth behind it. Any opinions?

Interestingly enough, the "Nexxus Aloe Rid Gentle Clarifying Shampoo" I just bought from Wal-Mart has the "correct" barcode number of 05592 16035. So like I said, just pick it up at Wal-Mart; for $7, it's likely that will be much cheaper than anywhere you'll find it online, and you don't have to pay any extra or wait longer for shipping.

Doing some more research, the Aloe Rid I just bought does not have propylene glycol in the ingredients, which is supposedly the main ingredient on why many people had favorable results with this. So I really don't know if it should still be recommended or not..?

I've heard malibu 2000 treatment is a good alternative to the aloe rid treatment, I might try that. Has anybody had good results with it on here?

One thing the Malibu may have going for it, is I believe it is a heat treatment. Note to raisebot It is not the Aloe Rid Shampoo that helps it is the Treatment Solution. The Aloe that MacCujo made reference to was to put moisture back in your hair. Quote:
