Okay - Like everyone else, dream job presents itself. Husband kids around what if it is a hair screen? I laugh. Who deos that. I take the offer and sign, dream job pending "drug screen". Naturally the call from HR to schedule, okay, she mentions Hair Screen. I try to remain composed BUT extremely difficult. The want me to start in two weeks to test is the next day. 2/16 Friday (no time to prepare) - what 47 days clean.

So I smoked on New Years Eve. Finished a single hitter myself (3 hits?). Came home and smoke another single hitter (3 hits?). Time before that I ate a couple brownies on the fourth of July 06. Technically the brownies should be out of the 90 day window. Yes, it is basically a Holiday thing for me. Very occasional user.

Shoulder length hair - curly/colored. Last cut ? Maybe a month or two ago. They took two clumps, from the back, two different areas.

Freaking out on Tuesday here - still no word on the test. I already gave notice at present employer and last work day is next Friday. If I fail, I am out of a job so I have sent out resumes incase. I decided that after reading the posts of people who have failed.

Does the lab (Psychemedics of course- nothing but the best) call me?
Can I call them (there is a number on the sheet) an inquire about the status?
I don't want to send a red flag to the employer but (oy) this is killing me. I assume inquiring with HR about the status is a no-no.

Thoughts/Suggestions/Prayers....

So you only smoked 2 times in the last 7-8 months, both times on the same night, AND you had 47 days clean after the smokes and before the snips?

I think everyone around here will be VERY surprised if you don't pass. I think you should have nothing to worry about, you can relax.

That is the way I understood it too and I don't know about everyone else, but I will be surprised if she doesn't pass.

I will post results when I get them-hopefully soon.

It seems like a cr@p shoot for everyone so I think they do this to scare us, becasue all the literature makes it sound so dire.
