Hi all!! Great site!!

Here's my story. Light user for the past few years. 1 per week. Around December I almost stopped completely.

1 or 2 times during December, I smoked about half a Jay with the wife.
Dec 31st, took about 3 tokes at a NewYears Eve party.
Stopped cold after that.
Clean for 81 days now.

Hair test is required for job sometimes next week. I'll be at around 86 days clean by then. My hair is buzzed short on back and the sides and about 1 inch to 1.25 inches long on top. I think there's enough up there for them to sample.

Any advice on a treatment. I'd be happy to buy one of the detox treatment sold but don't really know which, if any, are reputable.

Please help!!

I don't think you need to do anything. Your hair is long enough to test (don't cut it until after your hair test), but not long enough to contain any of the THC from when you last smoked. You should be good.

I agree with sec. You should be fine and pass without any treatment or problems.

Despite your infinite wisdom and obvious confidence that I'd be fine, I have to admit that I still was a bit concerned about the chance of failing the test. I'd hate to not only blow this great job opportunity, but also screw myself over for any future consideration from the same employer. (let's just say... a major auto producer)

So, I ended up buying some otc product at a local head shop "Clear Choice" Hair follicle shampoo. Figured, it couldn't hurt and might help. So, I used it the morning of the test. Whether made any difference or not I'll never know.

Took the test on Thurs morning and the employer finally had the results on Wed morning of the next week. Employer said my test results were fine and proceeded to setup my start date. Whew! I just went from stressed to happy.

Noteworthy: I was surprised at how little the psychemedics chick cut out of my head. Looked to only be 20 to thirty strands of hair. Okay by me, though.
