Ok, you've probably heard every scenario by now...but I'll give you mine, anyway!

I am by no means a heavy marijuana user. I smoked once at New Year's, then again once on St. Patrick's Day. Prior to that, not for many a year. I am having a hair test next week.

I don't know how much it matters, but I have a high metabolism, exercise regularly, drink water every day and try to eat well. I even called the lab anonymously to question them about my situation, and the person told me it generally takes about a month for it to get out of your system for a hair test. (I found this odd because everything I read online says 90 days?)

What do you guys think? If it showed up, would it be enough to meet the minimum cut-off? I think I'm panicking because this is a *major* career move! I feel like such a yutz!!

Probably not enough to show positive on a hair test. If you want to treat your hair using the recommended method it couldn't hurt. Also there has been success with bleaching the hair then dying it back to the original color.

Your usage is so light, I doubt you need to do anything.

You should pass without any treatment. It won't hurt to do treatment if you want too, but I don't think it is necessary.

YES!!! Just found out that I passed. The test was on April 19th, and I did the Mac method that morning, just to be extra extra safe (probably not necessary, but I wasn't taking any chances, plus it gives you peace of mind.) I followed the method to a T, and there were no burning sensations, over-drying or anything. I did smell really good for a day, like fresh laundry!

So for those of you social smokers, who only toked a couple times in the past few months, don't stress it!!
