I have a hair test in roughly two months. Early/middle May.

Last night, I got drunk and ended up smoking. I've probably smoked about a quarter ounce in February, too. It was irresponsible and I've kicked myself enough for creating worry now. That's not why I'm posting.

What's my best chance for passing my hair test? I'm obviously not going to smoke anymore, but when should I start treating my hair? I'm sure there's a point where there's diminishing returns. Should I start the MacCujo method now and do it, say, weekly? I'll also definitely get a haircut as close to the test as possible, and repeat the method after that as well.

I kind of want to order the Psychemedics drug test kit and just get a result straight from the horse's mouth after about a month of treating myself. Though I hate the idea of putting more money in their pockets.

So, marijuana.com, what's my best bet?

If you don't smoke anymore and have 2 months clean by your test.

Do the MacCujo method the night before and day of the test. You could also get Zydot online or from a head shop and use that too, in combination with the MacCujo method.
Keep your hair at or close to the 1.5" that the collector prefers.

I still stand by this reply that I all ready give you. You seem to be determined to cut your hair short and not use the Zydot.
It's up to you what you do. We just give you advice. You don't seem to want to follow it or you forget what was said.

All right, I posted in this thread earlier, but I know more details now.

I'm going to get my hair test done on April 30. I last smoked in early/mid-March. This is going to leave me with about 45-50 days clean. My current plan is to get my hair cut a week before the test, then do the MacCujo method every day, then use Zydot the day before and the day of the test (and I'll MacCujo before each Zydot treatment, too.)

Here are my questions:

1. How short should I get my hair cut? I'm thinking of asking them to cut it to 1" on the back and sides (probably with clippers) and just hope that at the testing facility, that's long enough for them to take. I'll probably trim my armpits and pubes too, just to be on the safe side.

2. Is the Zydot really necessary? I have heard some good things about it, and I'd certainly rather buy an expensive product than fail the test, but I've also heard that ANY detox product is usually pretty scamtacular and won't much contribute to my success.

3. Is there anything else I can do? My girlfriend has a straightener, would that applied heat help to break down the THC? Should I maybe go for a swim after MacCujoing? It seems like that might be a good move once my hair's beaten up and porous. Can anyone think of an easy source of UV light to apply to my hair? (I've heard that breaks the THC up too.) Any other suggestions you guys have would be great.

4. What are my chances? I have been clean for awhile (though not long enough) and with short hair and decent treatment, I think (and hope) that I'll be okay.

Zydot has been shown in solid scientific study to help remove like between 20-39% of the metabolites from hair. Do an advanced search using the term Zydot and posts by member cyclops. Look in cyclops' sig. Used in conjunction with other methods or multiple bottles has given many people good results here. Some people are able to treat their hair with enough methods that results in removal of enough metabolites to pass.

Joe, I moved your posts to their own thread, You might have better responses if someone actually sees them.

Obviously you didn't follow 1tokes advice.

Your plan to cut your head hair and trim your body hair is ok. No need to do the pubes tho, there is no protocol for taking pubic hair for a drug test.

Every question you asked, the answer is here in the forum. Read awhile, and if you see that someone has offered advice that applies to your situation, heed it.

Ugh, sorry, I forgot that I made my own thread.

I didn't smoke anymore, it's just that I had to take the hair test a little sooner. I even got it pushed back to the current date.

Anyway, I didn't really see if there was a general consensus about things like straighteners, UV light, swimming, or even Zydot, but I guess doing them certainly couldn't hurt.

Not that big a deal, it would just be easier for others to offer advice if your posts aren't buried in the "easy way to pass...." thread.

Straighteners are a good idea, as well as bleaching and dying your hair back to the original color.

The zydot shampoo and macCujo method have both been used with success.

If you want an easy way out, there is none. There also is no one thread that has 100% of the information and results in it. Just read the results thread, then browse the titles to see of one looks interesting, then read it. You would be surprised how much you can learn by simply flipping through the pages.

I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to make it sound like I don't want to follow your advice. Honestly, I plan on following it to the letter because you guys are probably the best source of information on beating hair tests available anywhere. I'll check my local head shop for some Zydot and apply that the day of the test, and MacCuj0 the entire week before, after I get a short haircut. Hopefully after doing the MacCuj0 once or twice, I'll be able to get in a swim and some hair straightening.

And of course, I'll let you guys know how I do either way.

Edit: A lot of my misgivings come from the facts that heavy users seem to fail. While I'm not a chronic user, I do have a tendency to use it somewhat heavily when I have it - luckily, I don't always have it, in fact it's probably the exception when I have some. In any event, I do smoke a lot more than a lot of people who come here worried about their three tokes in the past three months. I think, though, with my two months clean, relatively heavy treatment, and a short haircut, I should be okay. Would you guys bet for or against me?

With 45-50 days clean you have a fairly good chance of passing. You still will only have half of the detection time clean though so I don't think I would bet on you.

You are correct about the 3 or 4 hit smokers that pass easy. The less you smoke combined with more clean time the better your chances.
Heavy smokers have passed. I have seen some fail that I thought would pass and some pass that I thought would fail.
