Thanks for taking the time out to look at my thread and provide your advise. I got the dream job and so the only thing my offer was contingent upon was a drug screening. I got the control forms and looked at them and its a HAIR TEST...NOOOO!

I have not smoked at all for 7 weeks. I am 5'10 blonde hair 180lbs exercise 2-3 times a week.

Smoked last 7 weeks ago
Smoked a couple hits 9 weeks ago
Smoked 10-13 weeks ago smoked a little under an 1/8th.
Before the 1/8, I didn't smoke at all for about 3 months.

My hair is about 3/4 an inch - just got it chopped down about 2 and a half weeks ago. I started today with the method everyone talks about on here which is :

Tide liquid soap let it sit for 5 min and then dry.
Apple Cider Viniger let sit for 10 min then dry
Clean and Clear (2% sylidic acid - couldn't find pink bottom so I have blue) and let sit for 10 min
Tide liquid soap again and let sit for 2 min
Then, I have the Paul Mitchell 3 and let sit for 5 min

Bought the zydot - and will use the night before and day of the test. (will they catch the zydot and think you are trying to fool them???)

Then washed it all out. My test is on June 2nd. That would mean I have been completly clean for 2 months and a few days.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE i NEED YOUR HELP FORUM!!!!!!

They won't catch the Zydot and with your treatment and clean time I think you will be fine.

I sure the heck and praying that I will pass. This is huge. I haven't really smoked very much in the last year - very casual smoker. Please, please, please let me pass. This is the second day of using the Macujo (spelling?) treatment and my forehead is stinging from the vinegar. Oh well - its worth it.

Are you suppost to put the tide soap in first?

ive been putting it in last.

been going:

Vinegar - 15 minutes
Clean and clear 15
than powdered tide

is this correct?

I have been putting in the tide first - then doing the viniger with clean and clear (i have the blue bottom as I couldn't find the pink bottle but it has 2% sylitic acid), then tide again and then PM 3.

I think the mac. method is supposed to go vinegar,clean and clear, tide, and aloe rid / PM3 shampoos. Not saying you will, but if your not doing the method in the correct order, you might have a chance of failing. Good luck though

Good catch and you have a good point. I don't know if it would make you fail, but if you don't follow the directions, you aren't really doing the MacCujo method that you intended to do. You are doing a variation. That has been done also.

This method is killing me - yesterday i put the vinigar and the clean and clear and put the shower cap on - then blow dryed it. I woke up this morning and there is a huge red blot on my forhead ...right below my hairline on one side. Dang im an idiot. Anyway - I am now bandaged up to prevent the stuff from getting on my irritations. This is the 5th time I did it and will have to stop for a day because my scalp is red and slightly noticable. My hair is just about 3/4 of an inch (had it cut two weeks ago ...really short before even knowing about this test). My test is scheduled for Wednesday. I am stopping for a day (except for the PM3) and will do it one or twice again prior to my test. in addition I have 3 zydots...so I will use one on Monday, one on Tuesday, and one on the day of the test. Cross your fingers everyone and wish me luck. I just hope they don't say my hair is too short. Any reactions would be appriciated. Thanks!

No you just have sensitive skin. It eventually gets to most people. Use a thick ointment like Aquaphor or similar and coat the skin on your face and neck even ears if you have to before treating to help with all of this.

I have been using vaseiline around the sensative spots prior to using the Majco(?) method. I have scheduled the test for Wednesday - lets pray everything goes according to plan. My hair is about 3/4 of an inch - and I have shaved down the other parts of my body. Has anyone had any experience with having such short hair and no other place to pull it from? What would they say or do?
