Default What would you guess my chances are?

I just recently submitted a hair test this morning, I only had a 24 hour notice before it needed to be sent in. I did take an at home, pee-test which I passed. (I wish I would've had that instead) The last I can recall smoking was on probably 4 occasions in the March, two heavy sessions with my mid-grade stuff, one light session, and one seisson with high quality stuff. I had been doing some heavy smoking earlier this year, before the cut out date. I'd been smoking on/off for the past 3 years, with heavy periods and abstinant periods. I calculated I would've needed to have stayed clean since about Feb. 23rd to pass this test, I would estimate it's been anywhere from 55-70 days since I last smoked. In that time I have dyed my hair once to a darker black, I got my hair which was once shoulder length down to about 2 inches on May 10th. I am a regular flat ironer of my hair. I've been flat ironing my hair for years now. I am hoping that maybe the heat damage that my hair has suffered maybe helped destroy some of the metabolites? Or at least damaged my hair to the point in which the metabolites were able to come out easier. My hair was very very damaged, I mean split ends everywhere I would be pulling out chunks of hair that had split half-way because of the heat. I'm hoping this would be of some avail to me. The only prep time I had, I did the Macujo method three times, and a fourth time with variation. Soaked my hair in acetone. Washed my hair maybe 10-15 times with aloe rid. And then used zydot on the way out the door. I did not use any dirty towels, or combs on my hair. She took four pretty large looking chunks from the back of my hair, probably 2 inches worth. She didn't seem to denote which end was fresh and which wasn't. What do you guys think my odds are, and what difference do you think flat-ironing could have possibly made?

**It might be good to add some stats about me. I am 5'9", white male, wavey/curly relatively thick black hair. My hair tends to grow very fast, if I had to guess I would definitely say it's over 1/2 inch per month. I weigh about 145lbs, and have an extremely fast metabolism. I started to become more active in Late Feb. I have gone to the gym a few times, worked out at home, and have had a few bouts of sport-like games recently.

I think if you used the MacCujo Method correctly you should pass. I don't think that the flat ironing helped in any way since they are going for the oils that your head produces which has the marijuana metabolites. From what I understand about the Mac method is it opens your pours on your scalp so the chemicals can get in there to help mask the mj metabolites. I'm not an expert on this, and I'm sure 1toke will come by and tell us if I'm right or wrong, but I feel pretty confidant that I am somewhat correct. I just may not have worded it correctly. I wish you luck.

I sincerely hope I did this method correctly. How long does it usually take to find out the results? I'm a complete mess right now over this.

It varies, but keep in mind that sometimes no news is good news. I know this is easier said than done but there is no point in stressing after you took the test since it won't change the outcome. But if you passed you will feel such relief.

I think with the MacCujo/Zydot treatments you will be fine. There were some people that used heat and I honestly didn't do enough reading of the results and tally them up, to come to a conclusion if it worked or not.

If it's a pre-employment test you probably won't be officially notified if you passed. It usually takes 3-5 business days for HR to get the results. Getting the job will be the notification you passed. A call from the MRO will be notification that you failed.

I wonder how much THC must be consumed within 90 days in order to reach the threshold for detection? Have any studies been done on this? My friend took a drug test for this same company, and he estimates he smoked 5-6 times within the 90 day window, he used no pre-treatments, and so far he's heard no news (aka good news). I should note though that he cut his hair quite short, maybe 1/2 inch to an inch shorter than mine. If my hair was falling out due to split ends, the cortex on those heat damaged hairs have definitely been exposed. I just wonder how much of a difference it would make. I'm glad I purchased Zydot, because I found that there is actual research to suggest it has some effect. I did not use any heat with the macujo method, is it really necessary to heat the vinegar? My hair has been exposed to a lot of hot water as is.

It seems a lot of people want to say their hair grows fast when a lot of times it grows at the average rate of the population. Also, the envelope the hair goes in is usually marked so the collector just has to place it in the envelope right.

Do they crop the hair till it measures out to 1 1/2 inch before they put in through the lab equipment regardless of sample size?

Ignore that last message, I should've looked up the answer on here. Anyway, my friend says my name is up on the schedule and they only put a persons name up if they pass the test. So I should be in the clear, though it's only been a day since I took the test. Could the lab really have the results the next day? I hope my head heals quickly from this chemical treatment crap.

Default I passed

I passed my test, but I noticed when I looked at the sheet during processing there were only 4 panels. Either, they didn't test for marijuana, I passed but it wasn't listed, or somehow it was just omitted from the sheet.
