My hair test is Friday so I guess it is time for my to post my situation. I have 2-3 inch long medium brown hair.


I will be clean for 24 days when I take my test. My smoking frequency is typically only on weekend evenings. Most of the time its a few hits from a pipe, sometimes a spliff.

My treatment is as follows:

Day 1: 15 minutes vineger soak, 15 minutes clean and clear, 10 minute tide

Day 2: 15 min vineger , 15 min clean and clear, 10 min Paul Mitchell 3 scrub, 15 min aloe rid deep clarifying treatment, 10 min PM 3 scrub

Day 3: 30 minute hair straightener soak, 10 minute PM 3 scrub, 15 minute aloe rid deep clarifying, 10 minute PM 3 scrub, 10 minute straightener neutralizer soak

Day 4: 15 minute vineger soak, 15 minute clean and clear, 10 minutes tide

Day 5: 5 minute PM 3 scrub, 10 minute aloe rid deep clarifying, 3 minute PM 3 scrub

Day 6: 10 minute zydot shampoo scrub, 15 minute zydot purifier scrub, 10 minute zydot shampoo scrub, 5 minute PM 3 scrub, 10 minute aloe rid deep clarifying, 5 minute PM 3 scrub

Day 7: 20 minute PM 3 , 25 minute aloe rid deep clarifying, 20 minute PM 3

Day 8: 20 minute PM 3, 25 minute aloe rid deep clarifying, 20 minute PM 3

Day 9(today): 30 minute hair straightener, 10 minute zydot shampoo, 15 minute zydot purifier, 10 minute zydot shampoo, 5 minute PM 3, 10 minute aloe rid deep clarifying, 5 minute PM 3, 30 minute hair straightener neutralizer


Each part of each day's treatment were done in consecutive order. There were also some shorter paul mitchell 3 and aloe rid treatments before I started keeping track. I will be doing a few more PM 3 scrubs and aloe rid treatments before my test. I am also considering a bleach/redye tomorrow, but I am not sure if I want to deal with severe hair color changes. Anyone think it is worth doing a bleach/redye?
