So I have a drug test coming up. I just had my 3rd and final interview and they made me an offer this afternoon, which I accepted. I don't know if its a urine test or a hair test, but I would bet a lot its a hair test. So, I have been preparing for a hair test via mac's method. Here is my background:

Last time smoked: December 30th.. before this, I smoked sparingly back to about October.. and before that I was a heavy smoker for about 4 years with 3-6 month breaks here and there.

In mid february 07, I had 4 hash cookies. I ate them in 6 different sessions over about a week. In mid april until about April 28th, I had a half oz of mids. I tried to make brownies with a 1/4 of that. They were very weak, I didn't make the butter right and they fizzled. The crusts got me high tho Anyway, the other quarter was made into leary biscuits and eaten over another 10 days about daily. I stopped no later than the end of april, a few days prior to if I had to make my best guess. I've been clean since. That makes about 41 days.

My body type is athletic and metabolism is average. I'm 6' 195lbs and lean. I exercise daily, weights 3 days, cardio the other 4. I have thick, dark brown hair. its short on the sides and long on top where i comb it back w/ gel or cream etc.. its about 3.5 inches at the front of my scalp. I'm going to get a hair cut tommorow to get the sides cut as close as possible and get the top trimmed down to 2" or so.. the shortest i can go without a drastic change in hair. I've done maccujo 3 times.. I did it wrong the first 2 times and just again 30 minutes ago properly. The first 2 times i added the vineager and c&c at the same time for 40 min rather than in steps. Please make any suggestions that would be useful in beating this test. TY! I am so nervous. Do you guys think I'm going to have problems? I was going to just do maccujo but after reading that thread on bleaching etc, i'm going to bleach and redye my hair tommorow after doing a maccujo.. please help :P

PS: I forgot to mention, I take an OTC ephedrine supplement and I had a prescription for percocet when I got kneed in the balls on accident by a girlfriend

PSS: I am planning on clippering all my body hair to a no guard length. i usually clipper it all to 1/8" every 1-2 months but I will do no guard tommorow as well

I'm in the same situation as you, except the company had me start working before the tests were back!!!! yeah it sucks, I just posted a thread called If you must pass a test then you have to read this!!!! You should check it out, and definitely consider cosmetically altering your hair if you really want that job, I just hope I can keep mine. Good luck

There is no need to ask about off topic drugs when no in direct relationship to THC, especially when you have a recent script. But how hard did she kick you that you needed a script?

Second, I am not in complete agreement with shaving your sides down as close as possible. You have dirty hair from mid February which should be outside of the 1.5 inch limit (including lag time), then clean hair, then dirty hair, then clean hair. Yes you will be getting rid of some dirty hair but you will also be getting rid of some clean hair. You figure you have 41 days clean but it is a little less because of the lag time (time for the clean hair to pick up some metabolites then grow far enough to be cut). You should almost sit down and make a hair time line and really think about if and where to cut your hair.

Get some Zydot to go with the MacCujo method. Use the Zydot and follow the directions the day of the test. So far, in my opinion, the MacCujo/Zydot combination has been giving the best results.

I have thought about that and it makes me real nervous. If the THC is measured by concentration, then I'd want to leave as much hair as possible since I have more clean time than dirty, so to speak, yes? I've decided that I'm definitely going to bleach and redye tommorow on my own. I dont want to pay for a stylist to do it, not that im cheap, i'm just capable of doing it myself.

1toke, I plan to order zydot overnighted tommorow. I gather that i need just 1 treatment for the day of the test. any thoughts as to the extent of my exposure in relation to the test measurement? I just purchased a home UA test kit for tommorow mornings first pee. I find out tommorow afternoon what kind of test it is when I pick up some paperwork.

Is it bad for me to continue to gel my hair while I'm doing this treatment? I read the ingredients.. these are the ingredients. I know I dont want to "replenish" the hair

With the Zydot/MacCujo combo and 41 days clean. I think you have a pretty good chance of passing. Post your results if you have a hair test. This isn't the Urine Testing forum, but get a home test and test yourself with your first piss of the day to see if you can pass. If you don't pass the home test go to the Urine Testing forum for tips on how to beat that one.
Most of all relax and don't do anything drastic or stupid because you are freaking over a drug test. Calm down and do some reading.

ok.. what about the hair gel? i look ridiculous without it combed back. its poofy and sticks straight up. pretty absurd

Sure. Go ahead and use hair gel. It will wash out with your treatments.

ok ty. i tested negative for THC in the preliminary home piss test with the first pee of the day taken from midstream. i'm debating if i want to bother sending it in for further analysis. i'll find out this afternoon what kind of test it is when i pickup my paperwork
