Alright everyone, if any of you are like me then you may have just found out in the past 24 hours that you are going to have a hair test, whether it be for a job (like me), the court, or whatever F*cked up reason someone would want to make you take a hair test. I took some steps based on a couple of posts by other users. I'm a 5'9" active white male, with short dark hair. I smoked every single day in the past year, sometimes more than once a day. I quit for about a week, visited a friend and decided to hit my volcano, quit for another week but then decided i wanted to blaze out of my volcano for memorial weekend. Oh yeah I almost forgot, I blazed when I watched the final game between the suns and the spurs (before memorial).

Then I found out I had to take this damn test, I had less than 24 hours to prepare for it and I had smoked exactly 1 week before taking this test.

First I got my hair cut into a short fade, the top was about 1.5 inches. Then I did the Maccujo method, then I bleached my hair pure white (I have dark brown hair), then I permed my hair (didn't set it in curlers, so it didnt curl at all, I have naturally straight hair), then I dyed my hair back to a color just barely darker than my original color (noone can notice even). I then did the Mac method again the morning of my test. I also purchased a shampoo from a local headshop called "biowash" which I used immediately before I left for the test...I have read that shampoos will do next to nothing to help you pass a test, even though they come with guarantees you will probably never get the money back if you fail.

***A note on the dying--i thought i could get away with just dying the top because thats where they take hair from, I was given a Psychemedics test and they take the hair from the crown (top back part of your head). Well the dye had dripped a bit down and it looked to have just stained my scalp, i thought it would wash off, well it didnt and I had to go back and dye the sides of my hair too (the drop actually just died my hair, you could not tell from my scalp that i had dyed it). You may just want to completely dye all of your hair because who knows what someone would say if you walked in and they could tell you've dyed your hair.***

I bought all my stuff for this at a local beauty supply store, and it cost me about $40 for all of the dying, bleaching, and perming shit, and also all of the Maccujo method stuff. I paid 40 alone for just the biowash! I don't even know if I passed my test yet, but I already started the job. I guess I'll find out soon, and I'll be sure to post if my method didn't work. (Hopefully I wont have to post about me not passing though, so keep your fingers crossed and if you're relgious give me a prayer or 2, i'd appreciate it.) I also used some intense conditioner so that my hair wasnt so dry and damaged feeling (if the lab can tell this I am not sure, but what can they say if you're a person that likes to dye their hair?? )


anyways enough of what I did, here's what you all want. I have attached the actual research paper from the International Journal of Legal Medicine. Maybe by me posting this some people can make some informed decisions and maybe get the job of their dreams, or hell, just pass these dreaded tests without having to worry as much.

also, i took a psychemedics test, the psychemedics website states that in checking for THC they use a washing process that removes just plain THC from the hair and they test for carboxy THC or THC-COOH. This journal article specifically states the reduction in THC and THC-COOH.

On the website's FAQ page there is the question if cosmetically altering hair would have an affect, but they go on to say that it wouldnt, UNLESS THE HAIR IS EXTREMELY DAMAGED. Regardless, no company would tell people a way to pass a test like this, I believe that they may have just put that up because they were getting some many calls and questions about this type of thing.

Then again, I haven't even gotten my results back yet. Use this stuff at your own discretion and at your own risk.

This is a pretty radical treatment. Some people may not need all this treatment. Some may not need any treatment at all. This may not work for everyone. It may not have work for you. You haven't got your results back yet.

to just get the jist of the research read the abstract, and possibly the discussion, the middle parts will help but will require more reading. The basics are this: Treated hair (bleached, permed, dyed) shows a decreased drug content in comparison to untreated hair, by 40-60%. A lot also depends on how damaged the hair is.

yes what I did was radical, but I believe that taking radical measures were the only chance I had to pass this test...Hope to find out soon and post results.

If you've read anything from above you know my backround, i was a heavy smoker. I apparently passed my test, i have started into my 3rd week at my job and I have already been paid once, the second check coming in this week! Do what I did if you want a real fighting chance at passing a test, trust me, what I did works, and there's legitimate literature to back it up!

I recommend a program similar to this every day. Lots of people use it to pass.

I assume you are one of them, as I passed my test the week you joined this site...

Come around more often than every four months, people need help every day...

Even though I haven't been posting in the drug testing forums anymore. I have to post a reply to this one to say this. There are a lot of methods that will increase your chances.
Still nothing is 100% sure to work for everyone, every time. All you can do is increase your chances.

I'm not busting on you Jerry. I have been reading even though I haven't been posting and I felt the need to reply to this one. I think you will agree with me.
