so some of you may remember i posted on here about a hair test several weeks ago which i thought was going to be a urine test but i was surprised. anyway, i assume i passed cause i never heard any news and i've gotten paid already. okay so the interesting part...the new class of trainees is comprised of people from two employment agencies (kelly services and randstad). after getting to know a few of the people i find out that all the kelly people were freaked out about the hair test when they went in, but the randstad people weren't bc their agency had informed them of the test. i unfortunately was a kelly person, and i'm just wondering if anyone else finds it odd and possibly unfair? i mean, i know it doesnt matter now but clearly the randstad people had an advantage. oh well.

If the company advertises a job and says a drug screen is part of the hiring process, they probably don't expect people who use drugs to apply.

As far as fair.......I don't think testing for drugs you may have done 3 months ago is fair. Some places specify the type of drug test and some don't.

It sounds like you passed by the way. Congrats.
